I wondered when somebody would mention that.

Although it is prolific, T-Mobile is not the very fastest network, usually only equaling a decent LTE-A array for speed.

But it is all over.

Yeah, I had T-Mobile briefly before switching to AT&T. The data speeds were great, but the coverage was sub par. AT&T coverage is amazing in my area.

I’ll be buying on installment plan. That way, if I decide to pay it off early, I have that option. The only thing I don’t like about AT&T installment plans is that you don’t have the option of paying a little extra each month. It’s either pay it off all at once, or continue making the monthly payments. It would be nice to be able to make double monthly payments on the device to pay it off earlier. Easier than coming up with the entire balance all at once.

I wish you were able to put a little more down each month too! That is why this year, I am not doing that for the 12 Pro Max. I don't have the IUP program either. I did however apply for the Apple card and got approved. I will be paying it down over 2 years with no interest. Also you can pay it off in less time and change the amount per month you want to pay. You even get 3% back per transaction. I would have done the IUP, but you need to re-apply every year and have your credit pulled.

"The pull" frequently griped about has never impacted my score and it only showed up as a soft pull all years after the first. Making the payments via Apple Card for iUP gives you the 3% anyway, and you get AC+ and it makes upgrading/preordering a breeze. If we're getting nitpicky, you also don't show credit card utilization for the larger amount every month as that payment method comes off your cap. If you are someone that enjoys not keeping balances on cards month to month (raises hand) that matters. I enjoy my 800++ score and keep it that way.

I want to buy it from apple directly, using their no interest 24 months payment option but it sucks because they will not put me in "line" unless it has been verified and accepted from the credit company. By then, shipping is probably dropping to December already

Yes, but I need another credit card like I need a hole in the head, lol. The times are too uncertain right now. I’ll just do what I normally do, and that is just to set aside the extra when I can and when I have enough, pay it off early. If I’m not able to do that, then no loss, no gain.

For years I used to use T-Mobile’s installment plans to upgrade every year, but I got tired of T-Mobile’s spotty coverage and high down payments, that’s I switched to Verizon in August of this year and plan to buy the 12 Pro Max outright through Apple this year. If I like the rumors and leaks for the iPhone 13 series next year, I’ll trade my 12 Pro Max in for whatever variant replaces the 12 Pro Max.

If you believe that you'd be able to buy on time when you get the iPhone, then you could probably go ahead and get the Apple Card ahead of time, eh?

True!! But, I am only using it for the App Store and purchases from Apple. Nothing Else. All my cards are paid in full every month.

Once you apply, you get a decision in seconds. I did this when the Apple Watch 6 was released and was approved during check-out. I still had the same date as everyone else. Same goes for the phone, unless you already have the Apple Card.

We get pretty decent coverage with T-mobile. Then again we live in Queens NY. I never had a problem with reception in any of the boroughs. plus we get a large discount through my husband’s job with T-Mobile so I really don’t want to give that up. Will see over the next few years if the coverage improves.

Just wondering based on anyone who been watching the leaks, Will we get the high end pro max model up for pre-order this Friday? Also what SC is needed for IUP? I recently opened an CC to get payment plans on expensive hearing aids, I needed. So just trying to figure this out.
