while I'm waiting for my bundle of joy to leave KY, can I ask those who have last year's model how good is the camera when taking low light or night pictures? Do you need to use the flash in those matters?

You definitely don’t need it if you already have a lightning charger. It’s not actually wireless, slower than using a lightning cable, and expensive for what it is. People are drawn to shiny objects but this charger is not a good buy.

It's 10/30/20-11/4/20. I completed my order approx. 15 minutes after 5:00 a.m. - The friggin' store wasn't ready at 5 for me. I received a msg that read "we are tightening things up - we'll be right with you"... then I encountered website timeouts while trying to complete my order. LOL. Just the worst luck. I was awake since 3:30 a.m. and on the site at 4:30 a.m.. Ah well. The truly sad thing is I won't be home from 10/30/20-11/2/20...
The year I got my X I waited for UPS until 8 p.m. at my office... when I finally went home I received a notification 20 minutes later that they had just missed me. Hopefully nothing will beat that year.
I've received my cable and... I agree. This is a gimmick that will let Apple charge high dollars for objects like cases and chargers that are commodities and therefore will make them lots of money.
I’ve had zero interest in all these wireless chargers and am dreading the day that’s the only option. I’m going to keep on using all the lightning chargers I already have.

I’m in the same boat as you. I see it in stock and want to go get it. But in reality I don’t need it. I already have a 10w Anker wireless dock. If the MagSafe was a dock, I would be all over it, but it being a flat puck really isn’t great for my usage. So I’m passing on it based on the fact that I really won’t use it much.
I was holding out for the duo and still got it! 😂 Ugh... impulse shopping brain is the worst. I just had it added for pickup when I pickup my phone on Friday! Got a case too! I'm in soooo much trouble! OH WELL!

People...they’re sitting in Louisville in the large shipping containers. Tonight or tomorrow night they’ll break them down, your package will receive it’s arrived at Louisville scan, and shortly thereafter as it’s loaded on a plane to be sent to your region, it’ll get the Louisville departure scan. Chill chill out!
In the same boat. Plus it’s saying it’s delivering today by 9 pm. Lol. Hopefully it changes after that.I had the same exception until Tuesday morning. Yesterday around 6 pm was gone and my delivery date updated to a firm 10/23 non tentative anymore. But I’m still stuck in China with 11:57 pm crew
