Yes that will be my option if I can’t pick a 2 hour window for delivery. I’ve had my previous iPhones held at the hub a few times in the past with 0 issues.
About 1h30m left before CKS817 arrival into SDF. I'm sure those on this flight (CGO departures at 10:34 am 10/22) are patiently waiting for their import scans.
You would more than likely have to do that online or the app. I wouldn’t trust word from a person that they would hold it at the hub.
Just got off the phone with UPS, since I did change it to the nearest UPS location. Representative was certain that since the package hasn't even been in the state I am in, once it reaches the facility to be distributed again, the new address will be updated.

My apple tracker said 10/23. And it said it hasn't shipped yet.
Ups said it has shipped with delivery of 10/22
UPS is refusing to give a refund because the idiot thinks my package was delivered.
Mine never posted, and likely never will since it wasn’t delivered on Wednesday.

UPS has the WORST phone system.
You have to track the package, say your tracking number, listen to the system tell you how his is the most up to date info, then tell it yes, you still want to speak to someone.
If you try to bypass this, it will hang up on you.
My understanding is that there are 4 versions: US, China, Canada/Japan, and all others. The US version is designed mainly for US carriers, but will generally operate with LTE and 5G elsewhere. CDMA is in the US and China versions. I also called UPS. The guy was kinda rude but he said I'll have to wait for the confirmation that it'll be held at the CC.
I called their number, pressed 0, and then it asked for a reason to speak with an agent. I went with option '2' (shipping I think) and it got me to an agent without any wait.
Your card may have been charged, sure, but did the charge actually process and post or is it still pending? If it’s pending, it will likely drop off and the pending charge will be released back into your account automatically within a few days.
If it posted, yeah, ask for a refund.

2 more weeks!!! we just have to get through next week and after that it'll be pre-order week. It's right around the corner.
about 3 days ago i got an email from UPS for one of my iphone12 orders and it did say it was going to be delivered 10/21. apple.com / the apple store app never said anything about anything being shipped. the tracking number UPS sent was correct though, and this morning i've gotten a bunch of emails saying the same tracking number is set for delivery 10/23.
I think he already know he won’t be getting his device early. What he’s trying to do is see if UPS will honor the time slot he paid for on the 19th to reflect for tomorrow the 23rd, since he won’t be home and he paid for that service. @nateatlarge

I always give my UPS driver a cold bottle of water, Gatorade and a granola bar with a thank you note.
