I have a question about holding at the UPS CC (Sorry if this has been covered before - I just did a quick scan but there's like 316 pages to go through, lol!)

In past years, I've been able to hold for collection at the local UPS center and collect first thing.

This time, I don't see an option to do that.

I do have a MyChoice account and have done this before.

All I get when I hit 'delivery options' is a message pop up saying: "You can change your delivery after a delivery attempt has been made. Please track again using the InfoNotice number, which can be found above the barcode on the notice you received."

My iPhone 12 Pro is due to be delivered tomorrow and currently says it is 'in transit'. The last activity was the import scan in Louisville, KY.

The difference here is that this is the first time instead of buying the phone outright, I've purchased it on the IUP. And instead of opting to set it up myself (even though the order and credit check are in MY name), I went for the option to have it setup in my husband's T-Mobile account (he's the main account holder on our lines.) This meant I couldn't collect from the local Apple store because he would have had to go.

But this order is in my name, it's being delivered addressed to me with my phone number for the reference, so I can't imagine it's that.

Any ideas?

Thanks y'all.

Wow I accidentally changed my package to the ups store. I thought it would show me the expected time but it just submitted. Now I cant change it back to my house. Any help??
wait a few hours and you can cancel the request. You can also do that on the UPS My choice on table view.

No response but I am pissed....

this is the reason i feel badly for people that work in customer service. this "wed to fri" happens for every iphone preorder. you know this. your original date said 10/23. you know, knew, and know it's coming on 10/23. have some humility and not take out your entitlement on the customer service team.

I understand that. My issue is I paid additional money for a specific time slot because that is when I am home I don't care what day they deliver as long as it is before I have to go to work.
The remedy will be to refund you (if indeed they have already charged it). It's an automated part of their system because they do not guarantee the truck will be there in the window, and only charge you if it is.

That is incorrect. My original dates all said 10/21. Everything said delivery of 10/21 till late last night.

Can someone help me understand my CC hours? The UPS website said it will be held at will call. Look at the hours listed. Can I pick it up from 8-7:30 (hours listed under will call section), or 10-1 (hours listed under top section)? So confusing!

Once the UPS scan says it is in your local CC location, you can request a hold at CC.

You can't do this before the destination scan (your local CC).

Remember, if you choose a UPS Store (not CC), it will be delayed a business day (Monday).

Bad choice in words. :) My apologies.

I just hate when large companies take my money and not follow though on products and services I paid for yah know? It pushes my buttons.
I paid for that slot on Wednesday as well. The purchase page specifically stated that it’s a best effort situation, and if the package isn’t delivered during the paid-for window, they’ll either let the charge drop off or refund. Not hard to read or comprehend at all.

I don't think UPS sends out delivery confirmations every year, it just shows up in the tracking. I think that's a miss on their part and they probably need a system fix to correct it. But while it's a somewhat negative customer experience, it isn't a big deal.

I literally think people just like to do it and some find it fun but I feel it stresses you out more than anything.

sorry, was a little heated from reading a few posts here...i'll clarify and say that the tracking and all can be fun and nerdy, that's great, i enjoy that and am participating, too. however, those that feel entitled that their phone were to come "early" are clearly in the wrong.
