For UPS activities to date:
- Shipment info received (the "order processed" entry)
- Origin scan in Zhengzhou
- Departure scan from Zhengzhou local station
- Arrival scan at Zhengzhou Airport (CGO)
- Departure scan from CGO
- Arrival scan at ANC
- Departure scan from ANC
- Import scan at SDF
Not from my experience, they tell you to set up a mychoice account. Even calling UPS CC won't help, they will give the same answer.
I have noticed End of Day (9P) on some packages before while some have a window indicated for delivery day.
Ups just told me it will show when it reaches the destination.
Next level nerd 🤓: we should see if we can create a “decoder ring” for next cycle.
Someone set up a Google Sheet where we enter conf email time, model spec ordered, ship to zip, depart China time, import scan time, etc and see if we can figure out how things get assigned to flights, palletized, etc.

I changed my delivery to a UPS location, won't let me change it back to my house. Kinda worry now..
bummer that my choice did not give the option. wonder if they'd let me take the phone today...since it'll be arriving before the CC closes. I wonder if it Apple pops up on a screen saying DO NOT GIVE PAKAGE
If you paid the 8 dollars for UPS to deliver at a certain time double check. Mine is not showing. I am on twitter now with UPS to fix it.
Hope they dont push it to Monday but if your date is still 10/23 it should be good.
You can't. Once you change it to be held, you can't change it back.
Can you share your reference numbers (hash out a few characters on each to keep it private)?
It wont let me select a time either, unless I change it to Monday. Which I'm definitely not doing that.
With UPS bombarded with tons of delivery on Friday, it would be impossible for the driver to re-route just for your package.
I'd say all requests for specific time window or even paying $8 would be declined....
The timeframe where it is allowable to do that has passed. You can only delay delivery now since it's scheduled for tomorrow.
It never fails. Every year there are people that just can't help themselves and have to touch it. This isn't a normal delivery. They have very specific delivery instructions and messing with holds and delivery changes will absolutely mess it up.
Next UPS flight out of KY to NOLA is in a bit under 5 hours...should be getting a departure scan!
Not their fault that you ignore how Apple pre-order deliveries work.
