Can someone help me understand my CC hours? The UPS website said it will be held at will call. Look at the hours listed. Can I pick it up from 8-7:30 (hours listed under will call section), or 10-1 (hours listed under top section)? So confusing!
CC pickup is considered "will call".

Once the UPS scan says it is in your local CC location, you can request a hold at CC.

You can't do this before the destination scan (your local CC).

Remember, if you choose a UPS Store (not CC), it will be delayed a business day (Monday).
Not true, I requested hold at my CC just now for iPad and iPhone. Neither have departed Louisville.

also, i feel like those that paid for a wed time slot should be refunded, but should reasonably expect their phone to come friday and not demand anything additional from UPS or Apple

You can request it anytime before the destination scan. The request is processed only after the final scan.

So that means 8-7:30 tomorrow despite the hours saying open 10-1? What services are limited to 10-1 then? Just out of curiosity.
Those could be full service hours (e.g. for those who are shipping or dropping off packages). UPS Customer Centers, similar to all other staffed locations, are origin shipping points.

I literally think people just like to do it and some find it fun but I feel it stresses you out more than anything.

I'm one of the ones that like to do it. There's no reason to do it because there's nothing that I can do to control anything, it'll almost certainly deliver on launch day, and if it doesn't it'll get here when it gets here. But it's fun to learn about the hidden behind-the-scenes stuff.

This is the current view of all the flights being up in the air. It's only going to get crazy...

Same situation... Not sure if this will **** up our delivery. Even though the pickup location is 4 mins away.

With many deliveries, launch iPhones included, I have found that doing this can - but not always - add several days to delivery time.

With the X I tried to change delivery to the UPS store down the street from me and it was a train wreck of pending changes that no one at UPS customer service was able to even see let alone adjust. Then there was a big hoopla because UPS Stores aren’t all owned by UPS some are independent and they don’t have the same policies and procedure as UPS.

So after several frustrating interactions where I was told it can take two days to process the redirect, during which time the delivery will be held pending that confirmation and then additional delivery time to the new location it ended up landing at my local UPS Store on launch day.

I chose Will Call at my UPS Customer Center
Make sure you check the Will call hours for pickup because some locations are open a limited time.

My local CC is open 9a-6pm for pickups but when I vacation in Montana, the local Great Falls CC is only open 5-7pm (2 hours) !!!!

That is incorrect. My original dates all said 10/21. Everything said delivery of 10/21 till late last night.

The iPhone is released on the 23rd. What make you think your going to get it anytime before that regardless of what UPS says? No one is getting it or should get it before the 23rd.

If you chose the UPS Store rather than the Customer Center, you're delivery might very well be delayed.

Oh really? Damn... I have to prepare what I will need to do if UPS delivers while I'm not home. Won't know if a signature will be required. I talked to my UPS guy (whom I never see) the other night and he seemed cool... but if I get the delivery by 9 PM that'll be way too late to have a family member run by. The best I could do is have my Mother in law swing by in the morning. Ack! I just pray it comes early. I deserve a good experience after my X's disaster in 2017. I wish I could have locked in the 10/23 delivery. My luck is such crap with preorders.
