For those with a 12:24am AK departure scan, do you happen to live in the general area of the UPS hub in Louisville to where the rest of the travel would probably be via ground later tonight into other states? Or do you all expect more flights? Just wondering if they’re waiting ‘til later to deal with ones that are closer and traveling by ground vs. all these that are flying out.

3 hours from Louisville by ground with no stops.

I mean in the end Orlando is 3-4 hours from Miami driving, so I don't doubt it gets delivered tomorrow, just odd as the other one did arrive in Miami half an hour ago. Weird, lol

My phone just arrived to San Antonio which is 20 miles from me, but my wife's phone went to Houston. I guess it'll be catching a truck to San Antonio tonight. Seem inefficient.

Out for delivery!! So happy!! It wasn't due till Monday, but knowing Apple, they always delivery early.

Just curious, how long after they charge does it go from preparing to ship to shipped? Mine is preparing to ship now (card just got charged taxes). My ship date was Oct 30 - Nov 3 according to the Apple Store app.

Most of the people here didn't have their status change from preparing to shipped until 3-4 days after it had already shipped. So its likely it has already shipped, just not showing up yet. My fiancee was charged Saturday, it shipped Saturday night. It didn't change to "shipped" until this afternoon. Delivery is tomorrow.

Days, My charge was finalized on my AppleCard by Tuesday, and the phone only went into "shipped" today because it got the import scan and departed from Louisville.

Correct. I ordered SIM Free, and have a 7+ with same sim for 4 years.

Ok cool. I don't even remember what phone exactly my current SIM originated from. Kind of annoyed to have to call TMobile and go through the process tomorrow, but this SIM should hold up for at least a few years until something new is necessary again to take further advantage of 5G.

Ok good to know! Just was trying to get a feel if maybe it’d come earlier next week than the original date.

It’s been three years since I got a new phone so kind of excited. Lol

Ok so it looks like my iPad/phone took a flight from KSDF to KBOI, then same plane will fly KBOI to KSLC (where I am), then it will fly KSLC to KONT! So that plane is probably dropping phones in Idaho, Utah, AND California by day’s end!

Is anyone planning on showing up before their scheduled pick up time?
I was gonna go to my pickup center for the fun of it, but it closes in an hour 20 min at this point and I have yet to even get an arrival scan in my city, so looking unlikely it will even be settled their until later after close or early AM, which ironically I will still be awake either way.

I think you’ll get it before Nov 30 if it’s already preparing for shipping. Keep in mind, most of the wait so far has been waiting for release day.

Curious would the departure scan, match up when a plane is departing from the airport? Or could they scan that hours ahead of time making it borderline impossible to try and identify which plane my phone is on.
