Phone left Louisville 1:24, ended up in Earth City, MO (outside of St Louis) and departed Earth City a little bit ago. Earth City is 6 hours from me. So I’m assuming I’m traveling via ground..

Curious would the departure scan, match up when a plane is departing from the airport? Or could they scan that hours ahead of time making it borderline impossible to try and identify which plane my phone is on.
It matches up within about 20 minutes or so. Planes are constantly moving in and out, so I don't think they would scan it before it boards the plane.

They do however scan it "out for delivery" when its loaded on the truck - even if the truck isn't leaving for several hours.

Departed KY and on the way to Ontario, CA! 🛫

I just got charged on my Capital One card for my iPhone 12 Pro’s tax! This means... things are at least moving. This will be a hellish 7-10 business days of a wait! 😩

Our apartment complex turned the air off last week and we were sweltering in our unit. I have the balcony and every window opened. I will say that I am going to enjoy these last few days of warmth.
So I'm here at AZ, I'm hoping there would be more flight tonight. I don't see any new scans.
I am in the same boat and live in PA. Not really concerned though.

Alright guys. The last day to see if this phone actually makes to my house in Louisville, or gets incorrectly delivered to a stranger in upstate NY 😂 Im 90% sure its headed to NY. The tracking and Apple email still shows Albany. This is in spite of me calling apple 4 times in the past 6 days to re-route it

I am sorry I hope they get you taken care of. I would call Apple though and explain at this point that the phone was sent to the wrong location, and call or chat to UPS as well to try and let them know directly that it needs to go back to Apple likely, idk if UPS would be able to redirect it to you or not.
