Reading this gives me hope that if the app and website causes issues the first few minutes and dates start slipping a week out, that I may get it earlier than the first date given.

Amen! I had so many technical issues... the store didn't even become available for me until 5 minutes after 5 and then I encountered frequent timeouts during the check out. I can only hope it comes a few days earlier than the timeframe they gave me.

Does anyone know if the quick start migration copies data like saved passwords? Or can I only do that by backing up to my computer? First time upgrading since I started using the password manager and strong passwords and want to make sure they migrate to the new phone. It left Louisville at 4 and will be here tomorrow!

I restore from an iCloud backup every year, and all of the passwords and settings transfer over. I only use the Mac after that to sync my photos (I don’t use iCloud backup)

Yeah. No import scan yet. All these years, I got email on Thursday that the package will be delivered on Friday. No biggie. But, first time that I can recall that I haven’t got anything from UPS. Hope for the best.

I hope so! What shipping method did you select? Express or Standard? I paid the $8 for Express and I have the same window. Even though express shipping is 7 to 10 BUSINESS days. So our phones would have to ship out by tomorrow to clear by the 10th business day (at the latest). I'm hoping with all I've got it arrives by the 29th. Good luck to you!

Express for sure! My wife's phone was charged yesterday and shipped today for arrival tomorrow. So hoping mine will follow the same format.

Mine departed Earth City, MO - which is just outside of St. Louis. I live in Central KS, so I'm guessing the phone will travel to Lenexa, KS - which is about 3 hours from me, then travel south to me overnight..

My phones arrived not in PDX but in Seattle surprisingly enough; even though there was a Louisville - Portland flight, they were sent via Seattle. There is a flight to PDX very early tomorrow morning or they could go by road overnight.. but not here as I expected!

I think the scans are just delayed due to the volume of packages. My sister’s phone is coming via UPS but from Verizon rather than Apple. Her package had a 1:56p departure scan from Louisville and only just now updated with an arrival scan in Kokomo, IN of 5:39p.

For anyone waiting for the 12 Pro Max to sell off an old phone....lock a trade in now early. I did Decluttr as well after shopping around. I locked $660 for 30 days for my 11 Pro 64GB about a week before pre-order opened. The quotes I'm finding out there now are in the $400s.

Why would anyone use websites like Decluttr to sell their phones when they can sell them privately for a lot more? For example, I just sold my iPhone 11 Pro 256GB on FaceBook Marketplace for $750. It sold in less than 24 hours after I placed the ad. Decluttr says $491 for the same phone. That's a major rip off......

I’m still stuck in Louisville since the import scan at 9:34 this morning. Took forever to get that import scan and now it’s taking forever to leave Louisville.

Many of us don’t even have an arrival scan in Louisville yet, much less an import or departure scan.

I threw a sell post on my local buy and sell reddit thread see if anyone wants it but worst case $650 through declutter brings the cost of my 12 Pro to $100 so either way its not a huge deal for me.
