Does anyone know if the Max is shipping with iOS 14.1 or 14.2 since it dropped before the shipping started? I want to upgrade now but it makes me nervous if my new phone is on a previous version when it arrives.

Nope - last year mine did not get to Louisville until 10:18AM on Thursday and delivered on time.

From all I have read its on 14.1, so I am holding off on my old phone leaving it on 14.1 also so I can make quick restore to new phone with most recent 14.1 backup

My question (just out of curious inquiry) is who does the “customs scans” at UPS hub in Louisville. Is it UPS employees and software, or are there really federal customs employees there all the time doing scanning? Seems it would be some software and UPS employees on the belts? And of course as several have said it seems the pattern in other years that phones who get there couple days early are not scanned by customs til Thursday -as happened last week with the 12 and 12 pro deliveries—it may mean we cannot tell the answer to my query

US Customs officials do the inspections, and when they clear, UPS can then do their scanning. UPS has nothing to do with the customs inspection...they just stand by waiting to do what they do until they are given the all clear.

Oooof, just tried calling UPS Int’l again and AGAIN got someone who couldn’t find anything coming to my address. I don’t get how I can pull up the stupid useless partial tracking number but no one there can even get that much. This is truly an exercise in patience, which I usually don’t have much of. Lol.

NOPE! They are not running out of time. This happens every year and I've been ordering since the 2nd iPhone.

Yes if you log into your iCloud account it will.

I don’t know, it could be 14.2. Why would they drop 14.2 so everyone who upgrades to it and gets a new phone will be on different versions. I think 14.1 came with 12/12 pro right?

I have. Full order #, order # minus last 2, and phone number under track by reference. Nothing in UPS MyChoice either.

This year it seems to be order number minus only the last digit, not the last 2.

I remember when I used to panic like some of y’all Imagine what it was like before UPS MyChoice. All of us would be “preparing to ship.” Every year it’s the same thing. I’ve had my phone in China until Thursday and still got it on time. Scans can be delayed and entirely skipped....y’all will get your phones Friday.
