Hi stacey! Question for you since you work for USPS. i have an upcoming iphone case that is expected to be delivered on saturday. it has already arrived at my districution facility. Is it possible for usps to deliver it a day earlier than the expedted delivery date? Should i request it? I want my case to arrive on launch day!

On the UPS main screen (iPhone) I wonder what the “Exception” in red signifies.

Pretty sure it’s because Apple won’t let them deliver the phone before Friday.

I texted Apple about my order this morning. Still no response. Good luck trying to “contact” them.

Well this sucks and it sounds to me that it is going to happen to me. I ordered at 8:03 EST on the 6th. My order changed to preparing to ship a few hours later and it has been stuck on that for days. it is already the 11th and I haven’t gotten a notification or tracking number (checked by reference and nothing is available). ?

Just got of the phone with them. The person told me that they dont know what happened they do see the change from 13th to 23-25th on their system. The only thing they can do on their end is to put a note in the system to try to expedite the phone shipping. I asked if this meant that i would not be getting my order on Friday and she said that she did not think so ?‍♂️. I guess imma have to try to see if i can pick one up Friday morning and cancel the one i ordered? I dont think my X will last another week...

I did see that, but never had an issue just selecting to have it held at the CC from the app in the past. In not super concerned. If I can’t do it ill be home all day to get it whenever they roll through.

I thought maybe I was the only one. My local CC doesn’t show either for some reason. Never had issues in the past. Waiting to see if it changes after the Import Scan.

Figured it out.

call UPS, track the package, say “no” when it asks if the delivery arrangements are ok, then it will ask if you want it to be held at a ups location, and it defaulted to my closest CC.

I went thru the automated with my local hub. I chose the option of tracking my order, then once the system verified everything re: delivery address, I said no. The system then asked if I would like to pickup my delivery at the hub instead..YES. The system then confirmed the hub’s address, hours available for pickup and then the window available for pickup—11/13 thru 11/19. Good luck!

How long after you made the call was it reflected in MyChoice? My MyChoice still shows them being delivered to my house on friday

ah, my mini already has the KY scan and it’s one of the 2 packages I used the phone system to hold. Might just take a random amount of time to update, unrelated to when it scans info KY...

FWIW mychoice updates immediately when it lets you have the package held through the app. the delivery disappears from the calendar for your home location. Phone system may just be delayed

Yes its waiting to be shipped yet but ordered one have lots of lighting cables and the new 20 watt charger so I will be good and two samsung wireless chargers as well so am good but liked the idea of clicking like my Apple Watch does

Wow... step away a couple of hours and 25 pages to read? Crazy stuff

got my new Poppy leather case...the 11 PMax fits in it surprising well. Going to look sick on my Gold 12 max. Also is sick still a good thing? Haha. I’m 55 so not sure hip to the lingo these days.
And my phone is still in the Anchorage/Louisville version of the Bermuda Triangle.
I’m not anxious or nervous about it getting here, but......
having said that....
T- 39 hours, 25 minutes til my local cc opens up!

and by the way, how the hell is it it’s only Wednesday? this week dragging!

I always thought it was Realtime. Guess I'm wrong.

scans are almost realtime except the one for when they arrive in Louisville, then they sit till sometime Thursday as they start Custom imports to get them on planes for Friday morning delivery.

I'm pretty sure some people's phones have not scanned since leaving Anchorage on Monday night/Tuesday early morning... . But they show up as soon as the Custom process begins and then realtime through to delivery.

Has anyone had success talking to an actual human being at UPS? I want to inquire about having my phone held at my local hub. It seems they've made it more difficult lately. Thanks in advance.

I called the number to the access locker at my hub and had them hold it there instead of the locker. Later in the same day (today) a rep from the hub called me to confirm that I wanted it held at the CC and not the access locker. He gave me the date and times I could pick it up. I saved the number he called from for future packages to be held.

So I just got lucky and was able to score a 12 Pro for pickup tomorrow at my local Apple store. All the Pro Max videos I’ve been watching talking about how big and heavy it is has freaked me out. I’ll compare the two on Fri when the Max comes and return the loser.
Would be a no brainer if the camera was leaps and bounds ahead, but it’s not.
