Does Apple require signature confirmation for delivery? I won't be around friday till late so not sure if I should hold it or have someone go pick it up for me if they dont require signature.

Apple Watch said it needed a signature last month but it was delivered without it

For anyone that was in my group previously for AW. I’m one of the former AW 2am’ers. I know some Of us expected to be back here for the iPhone. We were a partying group when our Apple Watches were in transit.

I ordered a Pro 256 in Pacific Blue. After getting my cart filled I kept getting errors trying to check out and sat there watching my delivery date slip from 10/23, to 10/28, and then to 11/3 just because of the app issues. Frustrating!

The problem I faced in recent years from apple.com orders is that you can track the planes, pallets etc. days before the delivery. But you can't track UPS or FedEx truck which is holding your stuff in the truck on the day of delivery. BTW it seems order process went smooth today, just ordered Magsafe. I hope it goes like this in November for other models.

Does anyone who picked up their iphone in store last year remember being able to show up before their scheduled window and get their device? I seem to remember that working out for a number of people.

This not a normal year. COVID is going to foil this idea even if it might have worked before. They have to limit crowds and if people just show up at random times it could get out of hand.

I was able to arrive early for my Apple Watch pickup window a few weeks ago. I was like 20 minutes early... they didn't even mention being early.
