After seeing how big the 12 pro max cases are 😳😳😳 next to the 11 pro max, I’m sitting out the pro model for this year until they add 120hz next year.

That navy blue on the 12 is calling my name.

Then this happened. 🤦‍♂️😂

I just read a thread about that in iPhone accessories. A lot of people ordered black and it switched to brown, and others the opposite. Apple messed up somehow.
OMG, I think this happened to me too! I was for sure I picked black and its now showing as saddle brown. Hopefully, it will change back.

well you know what that would cost, maintaining that inventory for weeks until enough are built. And if they forecast demand wrong they could end up with excess inventory. This way they build hype, build excitement and don’t over invest. Smart marketing
My guess is as soon as enough people "prepared for pre-order" starting on Tuesday, they took that data on demand by model/location and started allocating inventory to regions. The logistics have got to be crazy to pull this off. I've had every iPhone on launch day and done the pre-order as soon as they started offering. I've always received my phone exactly on the quoted launch day. Pretty impressive on their part.

So Cal
Would someone mind explaining this in more detail? Want to be prepared for the Pro Max. I saw a few days ago there was a way to “prepare ahead of time” on the app, but I don’t see that option anymore. All I can do is favorite the Pro Max. Would love to hear more if there’s a trick to using the 24-month 0% Apple Card deal to save time on Pro Max checkout. Wish I could save it and a Mini (for my wife) together in a cart somehow so I could buy them both 11/6 with one click...
a few days before they go on pre sale you’ll be able to configure what device, color, storage size, carrier or sim free and choose how you’ll be paying and if you have a trade in or want applecare. once you do that, it saves your purchase preferences and on pre order day you can check out in a manner of seconds. i felt like i was done in less than a minute. way improved over saving as a favorite.

When you guys placed your oder did you notice better delivery times directly to your home/office or by picking up at the local Apple Store?
I ordered 2 12 Pros right when the app opened. First one, delivery and shipping were the same (10/23). By the time I got to the second one the store was slowed down and, shipping slipped to 10/30 but store pickup (NYC) was still 10/23.

To add on....this showed up as an option within the Apple App only. I also got an email from Apple saying to get ready and when I clicked through on my MacBook, it took me to a page explaining the process but saying I had to do it in the App. In the App, you'll see something like "Get Ready" that takes you into the process. My guess is they'll change the main image in the App from being the current 12 Pro to being the 12 Pro Max with the "get ready" message when they're ready to start that process.

Pay the $40 dollars 😂
Noooo! Lol I already spend alot of money today!!!

Another $40 Come on!!! Not paying that. Not worth it lol.
