Hey, if you have AT&T be careful. I setup my new Max last night. Everything working great. This morning, I decided to wipe my old X and logged out of iCloud on the X and did the erase, it some how wiped my cellular profile on the Max and my AT&T website account was locked (which I fixed). I'm on hold with AT&T now.

Update: I fixed it by popping out the SIM card in the Max and then reinserting it. That seemed to bring back my cellular profile.

Yesterday, my graphite 128GB iPhone 12 Pro Max arrived at about 6PM. I can’t find anything wrong with it. The screen is perfect and much nicer than my iPhone 11 Pro Max.

I’m on the Apple Upgrade Program, so I have a few days to really compare the two phones before I have to return the 11 PM when the trade-in kit arrives.

I bought a Spigen Liquid Air case and it fits perfectly. I usually get the Apple silicone case but $12.99 sounded a lot better than a $50 Apple case that gets back corner wear almost immediately.

That’s the same case I ordered to be delivered by Tuesday.

My sister is happy about not having to go to school anymore but she's not doing well in virtual learning at all. She's getting her first failing grades after being on the honor roll for years. The way her school does virtual lessons is kind of stupid- they don't hold daily zoom sessions, they just set a time requirement for how long students need to be logged in and working on the assignments. It's sort of a "read the chapter and answer the questions at the end" deal, and with her ADHD she's really struggling to focus on her work without any actual teaching or structure to speak of. No way is she going back to onsite classes so we're just doing our best to deal with things for now, thankfully she graduates next year. I really can't wait till life goes back to normal for everyone :/

Me too as well and I’m worried about my daughter’s grades. She always get honor roll but this year I think she will not. I work 6 days a week and I only get 1 day off with her to check her work and make sure she’s completing assignments. The other days I have to keep calling, texting and checking her portal to make sure she completed her assignments. She have daily zoom sessions for each class including specials. If she’s not logged in, she don’t get credit.

In all my excitement yesterday, I forgot to post that it came! Haha.

It arrived around 2:30p. Got started unboxing and it went right in the case. I made transition to eSIM earlier this year, and wow does Apple make this easy. During setup, it sees the wireless plan on the existing phone and asks if you want to transfer it now or later. Select it and click next and you’re off and running. About a minute into the restore you can see the cellular plan transfer from old to new.

A few observations - it feels just stunning in the hand. The squared off edges and polished stainless steel make it feel more like a fine piece of jewelry or an award than a phone. Also, the cameras seem massive compared to the 11 Pro Max. Significantly larger than previous gen. Pic below is transferring before passing the 11 Pro Max to the wifey!

I’m really excited and grateful to have tracked with y’all. Until next year! Enjoy your new toys all!

Here is my beautiful Pacific Blue 12 Pro Max ❤️ I am in love with this thing! And I am SO happy to finally have an iPhone with my favorite color - blue! I wasn’t originally going to upgrade as I had the 11 Pro Max and I was perfectly happy with it, but my coworker convinced me to and one of the main reasons why I did was for the color (silly, I know), but this was originally the iPhone I wanted to get when I wanted to switch from my Note 9 back to Apple. With the pandemic, I didn’t think that it would come out this year, so I was impatient and got the 11 Pro Max. In the end, it worked out for me and I’m happy now just like I was when I got my 11 Pro Max

Right when I took it out of the box and removed the tape, I put my screen protector on right away and put my SIM into the new phone and finally put it in the case. I do this with all my new phones. I’m not taking any chances lol
I did the same lol. But, this morning, I see two very tiny dust particles, and I know that with my OCD, they’re going to drive me crazy. Too late to lift the protector up to remove them I think. ?

Picking mine up at the CC sealed the deal for me to do that every year now. It was so quick and there’s no telling what time UPS would deliver to my house.

I’ve done it a couple times and had my phone by 9am. Yesterday it was nearly 5pm. It’s about a 20 mile drive for me, but will do going forward.

well wiping my old 11 PM was on slate for today but maybe I will wait until Monday morning for that.....I'm still waiting for everything to sync up on my new phone...(200 GBs of stuff) - thanks for the heads up!

There is an option *Erase all and keep cellular plans*

It’s about a 20 minutes drive for me. I was the first in line picking up a phone. I don’t mind the drive it will mean I will get my device quicker.
