I think the mini is the star of the show - perfect for running and being out and about, with the Pro Max an almost iPad Pro Replacement now. I was also able to perfectly align the magsafe charger in my desk grommet, no unsightly wires floating around now.

LOL! I know what you mean! Their packaging is awesome! I have a huge stack of Apple boxes! Can't see myself throwing them away! :D

I keep everyone of mine, running out of room to store them ??, my family just shakes there head at me
I finally convinced myself last year to throw away all my boxes (iPhone, Apple Watch, MacBook, etc.) which I started collecting the last 5 or so years. I did get a new Apple Watch from the DW last month though that I threw the box in my nightstand drawer though so I still have a psychological connection to them.....lol

TBH I have this case and I ended up returning it. This is because I've had a hard time taking this case off on a stainless steel, which I'm also worried it would scratch.
Wow surprised.. It comes off easily for me.. I have a Max one will be trying it as well...

Edit: I’m hoping it’s like the Totallee on my XS Max, because I don’t want to pay $39 for a simple clear case.

I woke up to my phone being out for delivery this morning. It was attempted after 7pm last night at my office. Luckily my dad is there to sign for it and he will drop it off to me later today.
Did you do anything extra to get Saturday delivery or did it just switched from Monday to Saturday today? I just have a destination scan since 6 AM and it’s in my local ups

Hey, if you have AT&T be careful. I setup my new Max last night. Everything working great. This morning, I decided to wipe my old X and logged out of iCloud on the X and did the erase, it some how wiped my cellular profile on the Max and my AT&T website account was locked (which I fixed). I'm on hold with AT&T now.

Update: I fixed it by popping out the SIM card in the Max and then reinserting it. That seemed to bring back my cellular profile.
I‘m on ATT as well, and from reading your post, I chose the option “Erase all and keep cellular plan.” Not sure if this will cause any issues. Primary line is on eSim with the physical Sim removed.

I need to do a purge as well but having a hard time getting motivated to get rid of them! ;)
A few years back I started parting with or pitching the boxes after I had sold (with box) or traded in the phones. I now only keep the boxes for the phones we own. As of now, that is 11 Pro Max (wife), 12 Pro Max (me), and the OG iPhone (2007).

Always cool to be nostalgic about some of the OG stuff. Original iPhone came with Charger, Earphones, USB-A to iPod Dock Cable, an actual iPhone Dock!, the Phone & SIM ejector. So much stuff in the box, and it was about the same sized box as the 2019 iPhone 11 Pro!

I used Erase All, because I didn't want the eSIM plan left on the phone I'm trading into Apple. There was no impact on my new 12PM. I also have AT&T and use eSIM only.

Oh by the way, don’t ever transfer from phone method. Haha
Why do you say that, is there something wrong with doing it that way or just slow? I usually set a new phone up as new but it was going to take me way too long to install apps, pair watch, etc. so I loaded from my old phone. Hoping I didn’t make a mistake!

It depends. I did the transfer directly from the phone to phone and had no issues. But some reports of taking a long time. It only took me 15 minutes to complete. I have to do it this way because I don't have Apple Music and I recently got a new MacBook Pro and it messed up my playlist and only way for me to retain my current playlist is to do a phone to phone transfer.

I was too tired to post pictures last night but here it is. Coming from iPhone 7 it’s a massive upgrade. Still trying to get used to lack of home button but that’s ok. I did transfer data from my old 7, but it took under an hour. All I needed to do was to set up Apple Pay and Google Authenticator app. I would say this was the easiest transition to a new phone ever. 4E824E63-DF85-400A-93D0-9320F9FD2539.jpeg DB956799-DF25-4818-A7B9-DEB508B8E77A.jpeg

From my experience you shouldnt worry about the stainless steel in any phone case unless you have the silver pro or if you have grains of sand in your phone case somehow. Tighter more fit cases are better if you dont want your stainless steel band to scratch, less chances of debris getting in. Obvs ymmv , but from my experience, with the x and 11 pro I havent scratched the band, and all I used were tight/fit cases.
