I love the ESR screen protector especially now with the flat edges and screen, full coverage/full screen screen protectors are the way to go. It looks like I don’t even have a screen protector on, which I love! However did you notice they hiked the price up? I bought the screen protector like 2 weeks earlier for like $11 now they’re like $18!! Glad I bought mine early lol.
It definitely looks as if I don’t have a screen protector on and that’s what I love about it too! Oh man good thing I got mine when I did lol that’s how they make money after a release lol

In all my new iPhone setup excitement, I forgot to come back and show my case/protector setup:

Sporting the Raptic (X-Doria) Air Case and the ESR Tempered Glass Screen Protector. Very happy with my new toy!

Titanic fan I see. . . Me too. I saw it 13x just in the theater!
Oh yes! Been a fan since 1998 - I was 10 years old! Still in love with the movie and still my #1 favorite 😍 must’ve seen it hundreds of times on VHS and DVD and twice in theater when it was rereleased for the 100th year sinking anniversary and 20th year movie release anniversary. I didn’t get to see it when it was first in theaters unfortunately

Sadly yes, I've been lurking watching the thread and my phone (Spokane, WA) got delayed due to weather. I then contacted UPS and they say they had issues with an excess of packages. It now shows a Monday 11/16 delivery date.

Its very frustrating, I thought about doing UPS store pickup but I'm afraid that will delay it even further.
As of this morning at 5:11, it’s been on “destination scan”. No movement since then... ?

I’m kinda skeptical of the bench’s. I don’t think they account for modem/WiFi streaming usage. So I’m guessing that is not adding in the fact of using 5G? Which I heard sucks down 20-30% in a day.
Yeah man, I'm still struggling with the battery life of the 12Pro.... I just expected more. My X is still at 96% capacity and I almost feel like they're about the same in battery life.

PRO TIP: I find that if you keep your screen brightness at the LOWEST setting when you're not using the phone AND you try your hardest NOT TO USE the phone AT ALL that the BATTERY LIFE IS GREAT!!!

( ? )

Side note: I'm going to stick to using the MagSafe charger as much as I can. I gave my phone the slightest hair thin speck of a scratch from "plugging" in the USB-C port in the dark.

I never could see the point of the MagSafe charger, but this has made me think....

Oh I know what that’s like. I got the ESR tempered glass that comes with 3. The first application went perfect only for some odd reason - even though I didn’t touch the inside of the screen protector there was a fingerprint mark on the underside and I was all confused. So I had to take it off and reapply a new one which went perfectly. So weird but I’m glad I had extras!
Love - hate relationship with screen protectors!
I put mine on yesterday, everything was perfect but it seems as I was placing it on the phone itself, it captured a few small pieces of dust, a slightly large piece of lint - somehow in mid air?? It's so cold and dry in this old house now, dust comes out - even with air purifiers running. ?

I didn't notice it too much last night, but when I was out earlier, sun shining on it...oh it's very noticeable and it bugs me! So..one protector left, gonna try a new install later.

Honestly, I may do this in the bathroom, run hot water so it steams up a little. I think I read this trick somewhere years ago. May help cut down on dust.

Am I the only one that has an obsession with Apple boxes? They have the best packaging and it seems a shame to throw them away....lol
I keep all of my boxes for no reason other than that they're really nice. I crack up when I go back to look through a few of them from time to time and find the headphones or charing wires. I guess Apple wasn't wrong to not include these accessories after all. Still a bit burned about the USB-C brick though.

I’m thinking about using MagSafe too from now on... tired of plugging the phone in and out back to back.
Yeah, I don't want to complain, because this phone seems like a solid release, and it seems there is too much complaining on the internet in general, but I think it would have been nice if they just did away with the port all together. just would have made sense, in MY opinion.

Possibly next year. Portless iPhone.

Yup! I had a 6S Pro tossed out because the Lightning port just not accepting the plug anymore. I’m just stumbling over myself to get MagSafe and not have to use the port anymore, unless it’s in my car. Guess off to Pasadena I go.

Yep and after thinking of returning my MagSafe case over and over I decided to keep it. LOVE that "SNAP" it's so SATISFYING..

HOWEVER the thing that has me going back and forth on getting rid of the clear MS case and seeing if I can swap it out for the silicon case is the open bottom... It makes me nervous and after finding the hairline scratch. I'm thinking I may just have to go get that Kumquat case. The fingerprints are crazy on the clear but the lint attraction I hear about on the silicon deter me too. So basically I'm driving myself crazy.

I swear I had a dream that I broke my iPhone last night and in the mid morning I realized it was just a dream and felt instantly better. I think I need help. As in the professional kind. ?

Ugh I love Pasadena. Go get that charger. It's really nice. I want to find a little case to carry it in my purse. I don't want large magnet to get beat up by dirt and scratches.

ISSUES. I have the best problems, I swear!

Ya I feel they screwed us with the battery. How can you go backwards in technology!! If the 11 Pro beats the 12 pro by an hour the new chip doesn’t have that much of an effect. We pay $1000’s and we have to do little tricks to keep our battery to last longer, in 2020! I guess that has always been the Apple way with battery’s.

but the real question, how in the heck do you have 96% health on the iPhone 10!?!?! That’s crazy

What about everyone that uses Apple CarPlay? Only a select handful of cars and trucks have wireless CarPlay. My 2020 Silverado doesn’t and neither does my 2019 Honda Civic. I hope the port doesn’t go away for at least several years. I also use it to transfer photos from my big camera to my iPhone.

Bummer on the HomePod mini front:

I recently got an iPad Air and one of my friends sent me an Apple Pencil to start drawing. I thought it was the HomePod since I hadn't ordered anything else from apple, and got excited. Anyway, here's the piece of art I drew with the pencil:

Good point. I didn't really think about that. I live in a city where driving is pretty prohibitive, and am usually taking Lyft or the bus. Not sure how I overlooked that though!
