First time I used magsafe charger and 20W power adapter, and here‘s my observation:

^it does make my phone hot.
^it does not charge fast, it seems like it does as fast as a normal charger. It has been charging for over 2 hours and still at 76%.
^but i also think it either slowed down or stopped charging (maybe when the phone gets really hot) and it could be why it takes longer to charge.

does anybody experience this as well?
I still have mine on order was hoping it would be faster than my samsung wireless which works as normal with my 12 ProMax but heating up is anyone else reporting this I know many are not out yet....

Yes, most chargers will slow when it gets hot. But they also slow when they get above 60% charge, then slower when they get 70% etc. all the way till 100
Yes on my samsung wireless charger my 11 promax would charge to about 70 percent and do rest during night after battery management learned my charging patterns. So yes pretty normal although the heating does worry me a bit will see when mine comes in another week or so.

Does anyone know what time Apple Stores refresh their stock for in store pickup? When the X came out I snatched one for same day pickup by checking at 6am but I’m not sure if that method still works. Has anyone been able to order a 12 pro for same day in store pickup?

I was able to a few days ago. I saw it around 8am CST. Keep checking daily. Stock comes and goes and it seems at various times of day.

Coming from the XSMax, the camera difference is ‘night & day’ (pun intended). 😁
I did like my XS Max camera, but the 12 Pro Max blows it out of the water!
Cannot wait until the ProRAW format comes to this camera! 😁

*I did stop in Apple today to say good bye to the XSmax, they actually do have plenty of 12 Pro Max's in stock.

Messing with different modes this morning (Always love the "Noir" [tree w/ leaves, sky] it's ALMOST B/W infrared, but not quite )

I haven’t tested mine, either. Nothing here worth taking a picture of lol. Don’t really go anywhere these days besides the grocery store because of COVID. Although I guess I could take pictures of the high prices and empty shelves. 🤑
I took a video of my cat playing in the sink and took a selfie of me putting in a mask in the dark bathroom to play with night mode. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Ok so this is normal behavior. I was worried a bit lol
Well, it shouldn’t get too hot! But my battery gets hot plugged in too, well when I use it and charge at same time(extra energy it needs) heat=bad. Monitor it maybe. If it’s constantly doing it, might have a problem..

A few hours in and I am loving my Pro Max. It doesn’t seem that much bigger than my XS Max. I didn’t get a chance to try the camera yet, but I can’t wait to see the pics and how it differs from the XS Max pictures. Has anyone tried to find a person’s height with the Lidar sensor? How do you do that?
