I'm still trying to figure it out... my suspicion is the MagSafe Apple case because the second the phone was out of the box it got its screen protector and went into the case...

So either the iCarez installer or the Apple case caused this. This phone has been babied since I got it on the 29th. I'm seriously upset about it. I only put the phone in the silicone case as of yesterday. I noticed the damage to the phone a few days ago. I cleaned the MS case and inspected the phone while I had it off.

EDIT: THAT or the phone came like that and I didn't notice. It's really hard to say.
I had my 11 Pro get scuffed from the Apple clear case. It’s not uncommon.

I don't know. Mine comes with my carrier SIM so that may be part of it???? BTW, just cleared customs in Shanghai at 11am EDT.
doesn't matter if its carrier sim or sim free, if its from Apple, it will take same time and route if coming from China.

No update or anything on an order, but checked Apple.com for the 12 Pro Max in 512GB Graphite, delivery in Dec, but able to pickup next day, so weird how that is, has that always been that way, I usually get mine from AT&T, might order the 2021 Pro Max if in 1TB on Apple next year. Just so odd the difference in ship dates compared to being able to just pick it up at the store, I get if the nearest store isn't close enough, but like mine is 15 mins away, why wait a few weeks when you can walk in and pick it up.

That was truly my case.
I ordered Nov 7, Apple said Dec 1-7. But I have found for Nov13 pickup near State and near megapolis.
So driving was 4hr(2way) (closest Apple store) or 6hr (another state).
Biggest problem was when i have calculated the things. So i spend 4hrs driving + i buy a meal in that city(lunch) + i spend $20-30 on gas + i pay additional tax $57 = i am out of pocket for additional $100 for sure and that is not even taking into account my time.
So the biggest thing is that my online deliveries are taxed at 6% and local pickups can go up to 11%. That 5% tax difference is huge when your purchase price is big (12 pro max 256gb - $1200).

I guess they have different stocks for Apple store and delivery. And the fact that you found pick-up at Apple store earlier means only that someone cancelled their order, so now that unit is free for you to reserve.

If my store was as close as yours, then i would still save $57 on taxes(delivery vs pickup), which will be perfect save towards leather case.

It's actually been that way for a few days now, seems my Apple Store has the 512GB Graphite Pro Max in stock, just waiting on 2021, hoping for a 1TB Pro Max, will be expensive, but, worth it. I'm lucky, the only Apple Store in my area is 15 mins away next one is in NYC, I live in Upstate NY(Albany area).

I’ve been testing out the Spigen Liquid Crystal clear case for a week, and I am now used to the case. It don’t feel bulky like it did at first, the buttons aren’t hard to push neither. I love that I can see the color of my Pacific Blue 12 Pro Max. The only thing I don’t like is it can tend to be a little slippery at times, so I have to make sure I keep a good grip on my phone or I’ll drop it.

That’s the one we had for the 11PM and now the 12PM. Great case! It’s not near as slick as the Apple branded clear case though.

Sabai = comfortable 😁
My workplace is sending me an iPhone 12 mini in about a week! I’m soooo curious at how it is, especially since we have to develop for that small size of a screen. I bet the word I’ll be using is ... cute. 😜 ... krap 😁

I saw and held one at an Apple Store a few days ago. "Cute" was exactly my first thought lol

It grew on me. At first I wanted to send it back but now I love it. I’m now waiting on my Peel case to be shipped. I only like using clear cases to show off the color of my phones.
Please let me know how you like the Peel case. I broke down and ordered the hard clear just in case I change my mind though. The phone is still too beautiful, and I’m enjoying the heck out of it without a case. Also, I’m still waiting for the back skin that I ordered from Slickwraps which should arrive tomorrow. Another forum member posted a photo of the Slickwraps clear matte skin, and it’s slightly textured that I’m really looking forward to trying out. If it works out the way I think it will, the case will gather dust.
