If you're in the US, it won't flip to "Shipped" until it clears customs in the US, even though you can track it directly from China.

Not necessarily true, my Apple Watch 6 was marked shipped while it was still in China.
Interesting. At least for this Max/Mini phone launch, it seems that nobody's changed to Shipped until it hit WorldPort.
I think that's just for the pre-orders. After the hype then Apple can change status at any time. Even my MBP that was CTO, marked "Shipped" from Apple Status and it was still in China at the time.
Ordered on 7th of Nov, and got preparing to ship on 16th of Nov. On 17th Nov on Apple got shipped status and it gave me tracking from China right from the moment when it was collected by UPS. On the other hand, ups my choice gave me an update from creating a label.
I received an email from the co-founder of Peel on the status of my case. It is being further delayed now until November 30th. I’m trying to decide if I want to cancel my order and reorder again for the BOGO offer on their cases. The shipping date for the hard clear case is the beginning of December.
That's weird how yours would go faster than hers. But then model and size and color might play a role on this too.
I went ahead and cancelled my Peel order to take advantage of their BOGO free for their cases and screen protectors. I ordered both the clear hard and soft case for $29 plus $5 shipping.
Apple store in Jacksonville, FL consistently has all models of 12 Pro and Max in stock for same day pick up, even Pacific Blue. Don't remember any new model having availability so close to launch.
Yea some places have stocks readily available, even 2 Hours away from me. But not really worth wasting a trip 2 hours from me just to pick it up. Apple Store near me is actually temporarily closed so that's why 2 hours drive isn't worth it.
As for store inventory stock, they do get shipments everyday. I think this year is a bit different and with COVID, most people, like myself, opted for home delivery instead of going out.
I just hope I see movement maybe today with my order since I order a 12 Pro in Gold 128 GB unlocked model, On November 9th I hope it comes sometime next week so I can send the trade in phone back to apple

question about Peel, what material is this made out of? I prefer TPU for some reason, I'm very cautious if it's Polycarbonate.
Yea I don't see that as well. Also by looking at the pictures, I'm not really digging this case at all.
Stacey, is there a code for the BOGO on Peel? I don't see anything on the website about a BOGO offer, but I'd like to do the same thing you did if possible (but I may just get 2 hard cases because I like the exposed buttons).
