I tried again and now it is showing even in Safari. Strange circumstance but I have all my orders now requested for Hold at the CC.
Finally have tracking. Yay! Now to track it like crazy for fun. Ordered Verizon iPhone XS 256GB Silver. Label created 9/19/18 12:38am
Exactly no updates mean more checking for updates. I know it will be hours between scans if it does leave so I won't be checking to see if it left every 15 minutes

Ya probably no hope for Friday then. Maybe an early delivery but not FridayNo, unfortunately it's not showing on UPS yet.
I have little doubt that they simply don’t want to associate their phones with China anymore than they have to
I did the same thing!!! Had to email his office to get the refund!!! It was so so annoying and took a LONG time. Citizens sucks
My CC wasn't showing but now is - no idea why.
My experience in OH is that the UPS delivery to the retail store near me has a later arrival time and they err on the side of safety and quote the next day (although it was there same day the one time I chose that). You might call the store to see when they get their UPS delivery if that matters to you.
One of the delivery locations shows my home address, and another the UPS store I chose...so strange. I’m seeing an exception now but still scheduled for 9/21. I’m going to see what happens and if my delivery gets pushed out, contact customer service.
in the past... ive ended up with a later delivery date and received the phone the Monday after launch. Once it was estimated A MONTH later...and I got stuck in ATT virtual line checking out and ordered about 15 mins after preorders went live. there is still a chance for you for Friday!!
Still takes a relatively fixed amount of time to get to Alaska, Louisville, and local. There's more going on than sitting in China, but checking every however often when a long flight is involved makes even less sense than spamming UPS to see if anything is happening.
I am on chat with customer service since last 30 minutes still waiting for "International packages expert" to come online and answer the questions.
Mine showed an exception too after I changed my delivery to "hold for pickup," but the exception dropped off eventually.
This has happened in previous years as well.
I'm from Canada but has anyone's pickup in store order progress update yet? Mine is still on processing item and it is my first time doing a pickup rather than delivery.
I don’t think anyone found out to my knowledge. There may have been a typhoon that had to be avoided, but I can’t remember. I do remember thinking “oh no”
It's gonna be a looooonnggg day. There is a full flock of UPS planes on their way to Anchorage and then on to Louisville. One is already in the air for Louisville and will touchdown at ~6:15pm EDT.
If it's true that some of our phones actually left China today without a scan they should pop up in KY early this evening with more to follow up until midnight EDT (or more probably throughout the early morning hours of tomorrow as the pallets are broken down and scanned through customs.)

Based on what? It is Tuesday! It could ship from China on Thursday and still be delivered on Friday.
We’ll have time to watch the unboxing videos (gold looks good!) and read the reviews.
As long as it’s before I leave work for the day, I’m cool with whenever it gets there. I always see UPS trucks driving around when I’m on my lunch break. Im in MA and the CC is two towns over.

I only preordered the 7+ in 2017 and I sent that to the CCs since it was close-ish to where I worked at the time. If they push me out until Monday, I’ll change to the CC, It’s only a 20 minutes drive or so away. The request was made early enough so we should be all set for them to change it in the system.
