Just as a fyi, my package is no longer showing "exception" on the UPS website...but I called and confirmed with UPS that it is still scheduled to be picked up at the CC.

Apple is one of UPSs biggest contracts. If someone screws the pooch they will be looking for work elsewhere
Exactly UPS is going to do everything in their power to get phones with delivery dates of 9/21 there on 9/21. Apple im sure knew and agreed to this with UPS before preorders and dates where given to customers accordingly. Apple then gave the orders to UPS and said get em there

LMAO what do you do for work that you have that issue?

Dispatcher for repair techs. We had one they just put in the field today....... boy did he throw a fit. He didn’t feel like he should do this or that. I was like were paying you to do a job suck it up be a man

I asked Apple for a lap dance from Katy Perry. They said they will try and accommodate me if possible....
My cousin asked for free Big Macs for a year, Apple is considering.

Trust me, I have been here a long time. People will go crazy and demand Apple compensate them. Get your popcorn ready;it’s highly entertaining.

I have mine set to pick pick up at the CC and the Friday delivery date is “tentative” with the request to the CC “pending”

So hypothesizing here... UPS 64 is landing in Incheon in about 2 hours (https://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS64/history/20180919/1811Z/PANC/RKSI)

It's a 747-400. The next two flights listed from Incheon back to Anchorage are in 11+ hours, and they are on an MD-11 (UPS 97) and a 747-200 (UPS 99). So... where is the 747-400 from UPS 64 going? Is it an unfiled flight plan to take our phones to Anchorage tonight?

One more thing... I just checked all departing flights from Incheon. No UPS 747-800s scheduled to go out... this may be the one!

They can’t go elsewhere tbh. They used to have Fedex, I think people were getting their phones early then though lol.
I mean they could have other recourse as well other than just loosing the work. I'm sure there would be something in the contract about on time delivery

Nice to order from Apple since they ship with UPS with the CC pickup option. I ordered my X from Verizon last year and that wasn’t an option.

Anybody know what UPS requires for me to pick up my phone at CC? I put in my info when ordering but because my wife is the owner of our Verizon account her name is the recipient of the package. Just don’t want to have any problems when picking it up on Friday.

You will have your phone on the 21st. My wife is has worked for UPS for 27 years at CC... They know they are coming and are prepared for Friday as business as usual
