Can confirm, mine says "On hold" via apple's website. UPS tracker says on-time for delivery tomorrow. Strange.

I got shipped notifications on all 3 of my orders from Apple! Is it Friday yet? Also I checked the serial numbers over at http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html and I have a production week 32 for my 256gb Space Gray XS so that makes it the week of August 5th. The Gold 64gb XS has a production week of 36 making it the week of September 2nd. The Space Black SS 44MM Watch has a production week of 37 making it last week, the week of September 9th!

Yes because it’s most likely not still in ZZ.

Unfortunately, with this many “on hold” emails (which are NOT normal), I think there was actually a disruption somewhere and phones are really going to be set back by a day while they recover. Bad news I know but this is not the same “this happens every year” thing.

Hmm, weird. Phone finally shipped out but apples site is saying deliver the 28th. That’s really suck if I had to wait that long again if the phone already started the shipping process. Hopefully they’re only putting that on there beceaude the original date was 9/28-10/5. I’m gonna wait until UPS updates and gives an estimate before getting annoyed LOL.

Pretty sure your phone is already in the states. If the status on ups says the 21st it will be there. Relax.

Can you imagine being the person at US customs scanning like millions of identical tiny boxes as they off board the plane today? beep (that's an iPhone). beep (another iPhone). beep (yep, iPhone).
(both of mine say they are en route from Hong Kong right now, scheduled for delivery tomorrow).

They use pallet scans. They just scan one bar code on the pallet. The pallets won’t get broken down to individual boxes until in a sorting facility in the USA.

Apple store, orders, your phone or watch, invoice link under order #. Your invoice shows the serial #.

Nobody has received an “on hold” email. It’s when you click to track that it says “on hold”. In all cases, both UPS and Apple Store app show delivery for tomorrow.
