After been in ZZ (2:10 am) for 2 days, my iPhone just finally got to Incheon.

Lol yes, I am hoping that’s what it means! But all day yesterday the standard answer was “there are missed scans, it’s already in Alaska or Louisville”. Guess that wasn’t true? Maybe they really were sitting on a dock is ZZ!

Apple shipping email last night. Interestingly, the tracking number I obtained with my phone number is coming from China, to my town, but ISN’T my phone. Now I see the tracking number provided by Apple AND that mysterious number when I do by reference.
be careful. last year i got a phone that was programmed with someone else’s number and i dont notice it until i already programmed the new Sim. i had that number for about an hour before people were texting asking who it was lol. it was MESSY. i totally stole someone’s number.

Not to sound trollish... it is a curiosity... say hypothetically your phone doesn’t make it tomorrow and gets delayed until Saturday or Monday... will the world come to an end? Will you suddenly catch a horrible disease? Will you be calling UPS and Apple demanding someone bring it to your house because you just have to have it now? Will you be demanding partial or full refunds? Will you be popping Xanax so you don’t destroy your house? The reason I ask is I have seen all of the above posted over the past half dozen years from impatient people who just have to have instant gratification. Are you accepting of that it gets there when it gets there or are you going to riot if you don’t wake up at 801am tomorrow to a delivery at your front door. Annnnnnnnnd go!

The thing that gets me is that i have four packages, and 3 have been moving. But there is one just sitting there and now we're going on 24 hours before i try to pick it up. Since the other packages have been moving, i can't imagine this one just having no other scans at all.

other people are saying there will be a list of scans that appear suddenly, but i'm a pessimist at heart.

also, every year I always tell myself "remember this for next year, so you dont do BLANK" and here i am this year not being able to recall if this happened last year or not.

"Hold" can mean anything from customs hasn't cleared it yet in Louisville, which would happen today, to the shipper placed a hold as many were in Louisville yesterday so they didnt get released to hubs early for delivery.

It could be held at your local hub as it arrived early so it's not delivered to day by accident.

Dont spread FUD without facts

Nobody has received an “on hold” email. It’s when you click to track that it says “on hold”. In all cases, both UPS and Apple Store app show delivery for tomorrow.
Ah, gotcha. Thanks for clarifying. Still not normal and is going to cause many calls to 1-800-MY-APPLE I'm sure since that's exactly what it says to do. Oy!

LOL, listen, i dont need rationality right now! and of course not, i'm long past the age of getting that worked up over things. it would suck a little, but i'll just wait till it comes.

Having said that, we're still in that period of time where its fun to get into the game and continuously hit refresh and wonder what's going on. Its like some else said, its as close to feeling like christmas used to when you were younger.

I think you spent wayyy too much energy typing that.
If you have been around this forum this long the responses are exaggerated and fun.

My new theory is all of these HK phones are shipping to Incheon, and then will mass exit to the US together. Book it!

mine also says on hold. does presigning for delivery work? i’ve been told in the past that they don’t leave it.
I got the shipped e-mail. 2 of the 3 iPhone XS Max order has the his Shipment on Hold and the other one hasn't but not too concerned about it. All three of them on tracking says it's still in Incheon, South Korea.

As for the pre-signature for Delivery, it is solely at the driver's discretion to whether to accept that or not. If they feel that it's not safe to take that then likely they will just take it back and attempt again the next business day. This is why I requested a hold for Pick up at my UPS CC for 3 of my orders.

Don’t think so. At least I would hope it doesn’t take almost 7 hours to go from HK to South Korea via plane.

The HK phones should be heading direct to anchorage.

Two UPS planes leave from Incheon to Alaska in the next hour. We should see some movement if they are still there.
