Carrier Apple.com New 2018 iPhone Pre-Order Thread

Interesting to me this year is how badly that the tracking is messed up.

I have the same departure as many from Hong Kong and nothing else. But note a few with this departure of 09/20/2018 1:39 P.M. also have a post that it arrived after midnight in Louisville at about the same local time as the local time of the Hong Kong Departure.

LOL so suspect they are all in Louisville and it is a really messed up tracking system. I at least hope when it arrives at my local UPS for delivery tomorrow I have the tracking that shows out for delivery so I can use the feature to track the truck -- fun last year. The driver was not too thrilled with UPS truck tracking however. He said when people saw truck near but it never came til end of day the wee not happy, I guess the computer local logistics for delivery often mean that happens.

And of course apple shows it shipped and arrives tomorrow as well finally so not worried about getting it tomorrow just amazed at the UPS tracking inaccuracies LOL

For those who see the Shipment On Hold message, I have that as well on the web page. The rest of the status is "There is an issue with your delivery and the carrier is unable to deliver your package. Please contact us at 1-800-MY-APPLE." But like everyone else, UPS doesn't report any issues.

I checked the status on the Apple Store app and it just says shipped with no On Hold message. Something must be messed up on the web site.

Same I think the tracking is just thrown off. Last time I had a delayed package it actually said "delayed" not on hold.

Factory: F2 (China, Zhengzhou - Foxconn)
 
Does anyone have experience pre-signing? I was thinking of doing it since I will not be home for the delivery and I don’t want a member of my family missing it.
 
There’s a pallet that just arrived st Incheon so my guess is if the phones are still there, they’ll fly out within 2 hours with the ones that were already at Incheon. There’s two flights leaving there shortly.

Them there’s plenty of flights from AK to KY. We’re good.

Got my shipping notification from Apple overnight and my phone arrived in Louisville!! Weirdly, after it was scanned arrived there it said it departed from Hong Kong again...
