My phone says "shipped", but not arriving til September 28th

Mine too, but on the UPS tracking page, it says delivery is the 24th.

Eh, a few years ago the carriers accidentally delivered a bunch of phones a day early (including mine), after which Apple freaked. This is just as likely some sort of internal hold process between Apple and UPS that is being picked up by Apple’s automated system as a carrier issue. UPS’s tracking is what matters.

I didint get this last year and I had a day one delivery..

I received the shipped for end of day email too... except ups still has NO updates what so ever about where tf my phone is. Getting ridiculous at this point I’ve gotten 0 updates in 3 days since the shipping label was made

My phone's latest update is departure scan 11:15PM AK on 9/18/2018. Nothing since then...

Same as you. Been over 24 hours since it left AK and apparently never landed! Haha

How are you finding the serial number of your new phone to see when it was made??

Try clicking “track shipment” from the email that Apple sent you.

I did. Still says it’s coming tomorrow.

I have the same departure scan. I am assuming the flight already made it to anchorage as there’s no active flight from HK to Anchorage.

Its a 9 hour flight and its only been like 7. We should see a scan in about 2 hours then a departure to KY.

One thing to keep in mind people, these aren’t ordinary UPS deliveries. At least until Louisville (and perhaps until the regional hub) they stay palletized and boxes aren’t actually scanned. It’s a spreadsheet of tracking numbers that gets processed, so it can happen well after the fact, and even out of order.

Tracking is all over the place. Mine went from in-transit back to tentative. Requested mine to be held at the CC a few days ago.

And 1 missed scan throws the whole system off and may well not fix itself until the import scan when the package comes off the pallet

I’m in the same group as you in terms of shipment times, dates, etc. We should be seeing a flight from Incheon to Alaska taking off soon, right?

Almost certain most are here and in Kentucky and they are just updating the tracking slowly to make it look like they aren't just sitting
