Its a 9 hour flight and its only been like 7. We should see a scan in about 2 hours then a departure to KY.

The weird thing is there are not any active UPS flights between HK and Anchorage though. Even looking at HK’s freight departures there’s nothing even close to the departure time.

I’m not overly worried as the same thing happened with my 6S and I got it on time. Just seems odd that there’s no flights.

After been in ZZ (2:10 am) for 2 days, my iPhone just finally got to Incheon.

If you do a flight search from ICN to SDF for UPS planes only on FlightAware...lots of flights, but all get to Louisville around midnight to 1:00am. That's cutting it incredibly close.

That’s called just in time logistics, and how it is planned to work. They couldn’t store all of the packages in their warehouse if all UPS boxes showed up at once. These aren’t commercial flights. They just hold the plane until processing is done.

you have to be smart, call AppleCare for a misc problem, once they pick up say nah i need help with my iphone order and the service rep redirects you, cutting you ahead of everybody, took about 5 mins. (They’re not going to be happy i’m letting you guys now my secret)

Just got off the phone with Apple with regards to the Delivery on Hold message. They told me to ignore it and that everything is on track for delivery tomorrow, it was something goin on with the system.

“There is a know issue with the order status page not reflecting correct information about the shipment. If you check your actual tracking number, you will see the order is in transit and still set to arrive tomorrow

So wonder if this is an Apple system error or UPS tracking system error and the phones have moved on and we don't know it
