LOVE the iphones naked but I cannot trust myself. I'm usually ok if its in my pocket or my purse but when it comes to weddings and other parties....I cant promise that the phone will make it out alive lol

Hahaha, I leave it up to the most high Steve Jobs to protect my phone when it is naked and in the real world. I've only broken 1 screen in my Apple life, so I feel pretty good.

The import scan on devices as it gets closer to launch day will be quicker. I’ve had packages arrive very late after 1 am, scan thru customs, and make it in time for deliveries the next day.

I give credit to Apple and UPS for their coodinated logistics. I suspect things like not showing ‘shipped’ are deliberate - maybe because of the deliberate transport staging in Hong Kong, Korea, ... maybe because of the other triggers like IUP return packaging.

Yes I expect that also. Given my sideline (I am geologist) of doing apple It for about 10 years after retirement I know servers (especially non apple ones we also were using) can be pretty wonky at times. Given I just got a notice my package arrives at house from UPS directly in text and email just now, makes me think package arrived in UPS63 last night (11:40 PM CDT, 12:40 EDT) and likely has made the 3.5 hour journey from Louisville already to my town in east central Illinois. Will be interesting to see the final data when the tracking updates
Your phone is still in Kentucky and won’t leave until tonight. Tonight is when updates should be instant..

Aright, I'm all in now, I too am trying to be a UPS shipping manager.

I looked into the past couple days of UPS flights leaving Louisville for buffalo. That flight leaves at 3:53AM. So I'm going to say that my phone needs to be in Louisville by 3am to make that flight. Thats 18 hours from now, they have plenty of time to get our phones where they need to be.
Am in Buffalo myself. This matches tracking for my case which flew in overnight last night/this morning. And my past launch day experiences too. It’ll be at Bailey CC by 7AM tomorrow.
