I have no idea. The 1:08 AM flight (that doesn't exist).
I really hope we see a scan in Alaska when 97 or 99 land there are a few flights going from Alaska to Louisville that get in to Louisville at around 1AM which I would still make my last shipment didn't leave Louisville to come to my hub until 4:11 AM

According to UPS though since it is a world ease shipment with multiple shipments combined in one tracking may be off or delayed until the pallet is separated. So we may see import scans suddenly tonight and a bit later than other since we are closer to Louisville

What I don't understand is why Apple puts themselves in this situation to begin with. When they have a specific release date for a product, and the first batch of orders are all "guaranteed" to arrive that day...that is a very difficult thing to manage logistically. And the high volume of recent years, it is starting to become harder for them to keep their word on release dates.

If they wouldn't insist on holding back shipments to prevent deliveries prior to the release date, they would have no problem making sure all release date orders get fulfilled. Instead, they continue this silly tradition, and the end result is that inevitably, some batch of release shipments are going to be delayed. Not just by one day, but several days because of the weekend.

It’s the day before they were promised so you were being a little presumptive with your accusation there. They have done this for millions and millions and millions of phones I’m pretty sure they know what they are doing.

Haha I’m sure you would love it! My wife didn’t want one, and I got her one two years ago and now she can’t live without it!

My Husband keeps hinting that he wants one. He bought himself a stupid Fitbit a couple years ago but it just didn’t do it for him. So I’ll probsbly get him one before myself.

UPS97 just landed (11:29 AST/3:29 EST) in Anchorage from Incheon, Korea. Will be interesting to see which orders get updated on UPS.com here shortly.

Yesterday, I got my silicone case. Today, I got my screen protectors. Now, I just need my phone :)

Hopefully so. It’s strange there is no import scan. Some people have mentioned time zone issues but I don’t see how that plays in given we aren’t crossing a date line from Alaska to Louisville. Plus other people aren’t showing issues and their phones are leaving Louisville to their destinations.
Yeah, no import scan and the time zone thing doesn’t make sense. It literally shows they went from Kentucky back to China and then back to Alaska. It’s gotta be a mistake. I’m thinking they are sitting in Louisville right now.

My XS still in Louisville (9/20 @ 9:17am) and watch finally arrived and left Anchorage 9/20 @8:52am.

What are you talking about?

For the last few years, they've failed to deliver on more and more release day orders. Go ask anyone who has dealt with these threads for the last few years. As their volume has gone up, they've simply overwhelmed customs and UPS in general at launches. Each year, a larger and larger chunk of "release date" deliveries are getting bumped to Monday or later. I'm simply pointing out that the reason this is happening is A) their volume has gone way up B) they still maintain the silly Jobs-era practice of withholding orders to prevent delivery 1 day sooner than release day.

My shipment is in the air :)
