The inability to spell y’all correctly is just another strike against you.
Yes ups requires a signature for these deliveries. If you feel it is safe to, you can sign a document for them to deliver without anyone present to sign. I received a "your shipment is on its way" email from Apple and in it is a link to a form for you to "pre-sign for delivery."
Ups just updated. Delivery says back to 9/21

It's like a modern day version of the movie Airplane! when someone unplugged the runway lights!
Delivery changed from 9/21 to Tomorrow by end of day.
When I wake up in the morning it will most likely still say "Tomorrow by end of day".
When I get up on Saturday I expect my status to still say, "Tomorrow by end of day".
When UPS finally delivers I will tell them that they are late delivering and they will say, "No we are not. We promised tomorrow by end of day and we delivered today. We are delivering one day early".
