Carrier Apple.com New 2018 iPhone Pre-Order Thread

I have been one of the biggest defenders on here ensuring people that everything will work out just fine and they are quick and are able to process everything… My phone landed in Anchorage at midnight and the last phoenix bound plane left an hour late at 4 AM...and my phone wasn’t on it. So now I get to sit around all day Saturday waiting. Not the end of the world but bummed nonetheless.

Well Worldwide Express Saver isn't a service that has Saturday delivery so people should be thankful UPS is delivering them 1 day late and not holding them until Monday

I already know there's nothing I can do, I'm just wasting their time, just like they wasted mine. I paid $1400 for a phone that was supposed to be here today.

9/21/2018 1:34 A.M. Your package was released by the customs agency. ​

Does not give me any time zone information, so no way to know whose customs agency caused the delay - export (China) or import (US). Wonder if it is China customs giving US the finger for the trade/tariff war?

Same situation here. Still showing scheduled for delivery today but it seems really doubtful.

WTF again. Today USPS guy came early. He usually comes late.

Well this year (and I am following my delivery like last year) he did businesses first finally just after lunch started hitting rural subdivisions to my north. Typically I am mid late afternoon. I talked to him last year and he was in my area due to overnight packages to several houses, those have as much priority as businesses. Typical house deliveries are last priority and thus the bypassing seems not good logistics but it has to do with priorities (and packages that cost much more and are time dependent). This year back to normal mid after noon while I watch him circling to my north a mile or two away LOL

Guess I should consider myself super lucky. I live in what some would call “the sticks” in the foothills of northern Cali. I have the live tracking. Currently tracking not only UPS but my plumber live and they just passed each other. Plumber is going to beat UPS. Lol

So my XS switched back to delivery unknown, with no scans since China on 9/19. The only update is that an hour ago a note posted from 1:20 AM saying it had cleared customs. Fingers crossed...

Just read that Apple may try and fulfill remaining pickup pre orders with left over stock from walk ins at the end of the day. Why not pull the walk ins and fill the orders that where done last week with an 8AM pickup time...

Mine was on the 3:26pm out or Anchorage, just barely updated to import scan in Louisville, weird, as I ordered it at 12:02am on the 14th. Still needs to get to Sky Harbor but should be no problem. This is the closest I’ve ever seen in the past 10 or so years

Just checked, rescheduled to Saturday 22nd delivery.

I’ll have to go take a look. The only other place I’ve ordered from is AT&T. One year was fine, another year was oh so screwed up.
