This was the smoothest update process from the time I put my order in to receiving the new phone. Everything worked like a well oiled machine! Apple and UPS finally got their act together! A happy customer. See ya next year when we do it again.
Some people will say otherwise. But for me it was smooth as well

Calling UPS again asking for an "escalation ticket" and they are some of the worst customer service people I've ever dealt with. Clearly reading from a script and aren't even listening to what I'm saying about my situation. They are now telling me they will attempt delivery first at my home tomorrow even though the status online still says request for pickup. Think they are just trying to get me to hang up.
Remember to say "it's an iPhone" for an instant fix

I’ve done this many times, but this was the best experience so far.
I think the only people who had a bad one are the ones waiting 1 or 2 more days for their phone. But machines break weather happens and things get delayed it's the risk we take to wait for an iPhone without even leaving home

I’m sure they’ve done right by most customers this year.

So I picked up my phone at the UPS CC and then went to the Apple store to return it. They didn't have anymore in stock so I couldn't
buy one while I was there. But it got me thinking. I just joined T-Mobile and am wondering should I wait a year and buy a new iPhone through T-Mobile's Jump upgrade program, or should just stay with Apples upgrade program? Anybody with experience with both, hoping you can give advice on which one is better. Thanx.....

I don't even have "Almost There" and this map shows the truck at the same location 4 blocks away since 2:40pm (3:21 now) Silliness.

That truck tracker doesn’t work so well. It was jumping around in a way that was physically impossible but at times it was accurate. Especially in the last 1/2 hour. Now using my new silver Max 512 to type this. The restore process also gets faster and smoother each year with newer iOS versions. Tapatalk got restored before most of the other apps which are still loading.

Just delivered! So excited! :)

Poor UPS driver said he has had some people actually following the truck, watching to see what boxes might get left outside. He was also worried about the potential for being robbed today. Crazy!

Hope you all get your phones (and watches) soon. :) About to do a restore and set up that gorgeous S4 watch too!
