I ended up canceling my Max 256GB Silver T-Mobile order place at 12:06 AM PDT last night since for some odd reason I got the dreaded 9/28-10/5 delivery date. Was hoping it would update to 9/21 like last year when I ordered the X but was starting to lose hope.

Ended up back on the Apple Store app to see if there were any that I could guarantee for pick-up. Luckily I live within an hour of 12 Apple Stores. I was able to order a Sim-free one instead which I really wanted and canceled my T-Mobile order once I got my confirmation email from Apple. I paid via Apple Pay and it got charged some time this morning. I never got charged for my T-Mobile delivery purchase so this definitely guarantees I get it on launch day. I got the 2:00-2:30 PM check-in time so it worked out perfectly for me.

Good news is that it’s one more T-Mobile 256GB Silver for someone else to move up in the line. I’ve never went to an Apple Store to pick up before on launch day so hoping it’s a smooth experience. I recommend anyone with a delivery date that isn’t on launch day to check the Apple Store to see if there are models available. It changes often and in real time so keep coming back and you may get lucky like me in case someone close to you decided to cancel their order. Good luck!

Found one tracking number for order number -2 . But that’s not going to where I live ( North West). Going to Santa Rosa, CA. Wondering if Apple would have someone else ship from Santa Rosa to my home.

Or else I found a wrong tracking id which isn’t mine

So my confirmation email is time stamped at 1:01am MT. I haven’t seen any movement on UPS yet, but Apple is saying preparing to ship. So what are the odds that for the really early confirmations, there is a stock already stateside that are earmarked for those orders and the movement now is the orders that fell out of that window and are being filled by the next waves of stock coming from China? The ones stateside have no need for movement yet and probably will update later this week.

That thought helps me at least :)

Hm I can’t seem to get orders to show up on MyChoice since I moved and tracking by reference isn’t showing me any packages -

Ordered 12:04PDT and shows preparing to ship still

Your phones may still be in China, waiting for the next batch of phones. Your phones may hangout at their present location for a few days.
This is correct. If you like myself got a departure scan from China you’re going to be getting a arrival scan at another apart of China. Then you’ll get the final departure scan as per last year and picture below..

For the phone number reference trick, are y’all AT&T people typing it as just the 10-digit number “5554442222”?

And is it the number of the phone you upgraded? Or the primary account holder number?

Nothing I try is working for me on UPS even though I ordered my 64GB XS Max Space Grey at 3:04 Eastern and it’s Preparing to Ship

I know this has probably been answered before, but for the life of me I cannot find the answer....

If I ordered an XS Max and a Series 4 Apple Watch, will they both be on the same shipping tracking number and sent together? Or will they be separate tracking numbers? Ive had a number generated in UPS MyChoice, so I wasn't sure if it was just one or the other, or if it were both items.. Thanks guys & gals!
Separate shipments. I have the same order as you and see two different packages from two different locations in UPS My Choice.

It’s the number that is attached to my Apple.com account. Sometimes it just takes a while: they have a lot of orders to prep and scan. :)
