Just because something is a virus doesn't mean a vaccine against one does anything in regards to the other, infiltrates the body the same way, or has the same effects.
I will be getting a flu shot like I do every year because I am still immune compromised as per my last round of bloodwork in April. I am also listed for an organ transplant. This makes the flu shot mandatory for me to maintain my listing.
In addition, I have a heart implant. So the flu is just as, if not more scary than Coronavirus to me as the flu is simply more prevalent and not tested for as much. COVID-19 and seasonal flu are both a Coronavirus as it refers the the cellular structure of the organism.
I've also had the Hep A & B vaccinations as an adult as well, and a pneumonia vaccination as recommended.
They really don't want me getting sick. As I said, though my last blood draw was in April and my only issue was a slightly low WBC count. It's still low, though. My annual MRI was stable enough that they're moving me to ultrasounds once a year instead.
I'm hoping to end up on a once a year bloodwork schedule this December. Considering little more than two years ago I was expected to expire without the transplant is nothing short of a miracle.....
Love the idea...and it would be very funny. But, please let me correct a small mistake. Jony Ive never says the word ‘aluminum’, he always says ‘aluminium’. Two different spellings: the first has 8 letters and 4 syllables while the second has 9 letters and 5 syllables. Both words refer to the same element, of course. ‘Alumimun’ is the US spelling (and pronunciation, obviously) whereas ‘Aluminium’ is used in much of the rest of the English-speaking world. Just as you might find his British accent and use of ‘aluminium’ amusing, so do many of us find the US use of ‘aluminum’! It all depends on your starting point, I suppose.
Please don't give Apple any ideas to sell these...starting price $49.99 for ONE mask.
It doesn't. Even the article title says the masks are for employees. But these days, we can't let facts get in the way of cutesy comments about things being snappier, expensive, being "Pro," or having a notch...
Because there are lots of misinformed trolls that have made it that way.

The admins and site owner love perpetuating drama for ad clicks, it's the reason PRSI exists. They could easily clean up a lot of the crap if they wanted to, yet they prefer to categorize science as politics and further the nonsense drama of it all.
So what part am I failing at? If it's the reusing a face mask part, then sorry for doing what everybody is doing including many healthcare workers. Might as well just not wear a mask at all if it's a 100% fail, right?
Not sure where you live but I am thankful I don't live there if health care workers
are reusing one time use masks or reusing fabric masks without washing.

I would say MacRumors editors made the right call for this story.
Because unfortunately a majority of one very prominent US Political figure's supporters have made it so.
With Apples poor track record lately of designing and producing hardware and software free of defects, in no way should they be involved in the design of masks. Will they soon be announcing a repair program to placate those who trust the masks and yet still come down with Covid.?
