The iPhone 15 lineups have already been released and they mentioned they are still selling the normal 13. It will discontinue when the iPhone 16 releases or if they release the SE 4 as big as the normal iPhone.
The iPhone 15 lineups are still on pre-order & won't be officially released to the public until this upcoming Friday on the 22nd.

They're still selling the iPhone SE 3, the original iPhone 13, the original iPhone 14 & the 14 Plus models for now. But by then, most people will upgrade to the iPhone 15 models anyway.

I swear to god, all day long I’ve been thinking of calling up the aforementioned further out Apple Store to see if they have any 256GB models in stock to try to exchange mine despite 128GB not really having been a hindrance in the last three years.

I don't recall a time that Apple has changed the iPhone lineup they sell when the new iPhone goes live, from what they announce at the event....

I can't imagine anything happening with the SE 3 till next year at the earliest!

Apple caters mainly to people…
No Apple does not. Apple caters to what people actually buy regardless of reason. And compared to the larger devices, only a small percent of folks buy the <6.1” devices. And the margins on the larger devices are also larger. That said, we love our two iPhone13minis and plan to keep them a long, long time. When they finally die or security cannot be updated, we’ll look at options then.

What a big disappointment. It's absurd they are selling the SE 3 but not the Mini!

My 13 mini should last for 1 or 2 more years, but then what?

The sales of the Plus size models are also low, it has been a failure.

Still don't understand how people use such large phones, I am sure they will love it if Apple released a phone as big as the iPad mini.

If there is iPad mini sized iPhone, I will buy. I am debating if I should go for Pixel fold now.

Small phone s aren't cutting it. Too small for web browsing, I love watching video on bigger screen, gaming is also go cramped on iPhone mini where all th controls are cramped together, typing on iPhone mini is also cramped experience, battery life sucks on both SE and iPhone mini etc.

Too me and many people, mini iPhone is comprised phone. If I am going to spend top dollars on phone, I will buy bigger phone for better experiences

What you consider better iPhone experiences, others consider as negative points. To me, for example, a phone should be smaller so I don't need to accommodate it into my fashion or carry it in a bag, for example. I also prefer to have a phone that I can use easily with one hand while I carry groceries or anything else that keeps my second hand busy. When I do sport, for example, a mini is perfect.

I don't have small hands, and yet i feel major discomfort having to manoeuvre a bigger phone just to use it.

I consume my media on other devices and on those rare occasions that I decide to watch a video on my iPhone mini, i have no issues at all as it's still bigger than what we've had up until iPhone X came out.

To each their own.

^^^Exactly this. My wife and I both completely agree with all your points and love our one red and one green iPhone13minis. For most viewing of things, we use our iPads (Air and Pro). After our iPhones wear out/die/whatever, we‘ll have to look at non-Apple options given their direction.

I'm hoping they will deliver smaller devices every 3-5 years like they've been doing since the SE came out. If not, I am not sure if I can get myself used to 6.1" device. It's too annoying and cumbersome to use.

Well, you can keep hoping. But small phones aren’t coming back. Majority of people have moved on to larger devices and not looking back.

Apple isn’t tried, mini phone aren’t selling. This is the reality.

I’ve heard the same rhetoric before they released the mini.

If Apple doesn’t deliver, people will buy something else. Simple. Not everyone spends their free time only consuming media. You can enjoy phablets, others don’t enjoy them. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes. It is mostly likely small loud voices that overblown demand of small phones.

There really isn’t any small phone anymore. Even if you go with Android route, you can’t find anything close to iPhone mini

Problem with mini iPhone is that it isn’t really good at one hand operation either. I still cannot reach top left corner for back button, I still cannot reach action centre without changing hand position.

Battery life is also sore point for mini iPhone and carrying out battery bank is necessity for me. You can’t seriously tell me iPhone 12 or 13 mini offers better battery endurance than regular or Pro Max. This is exactly same reason that I ditched SE for good.

Third sore point is smaller iPhone has smaller on devices keyboard, and typo is constant with such small keyboard.

Not mention smaller screen means less displayed on screen, means more scrolling and zooming.

If I cannot reach top corner or action button, battery life sucks and need to carrying battery bank, constant typo with small keyboard. Then why mini iPhone.
