You’ve clearly never even bothered to learn anything about Framework because they are about $3-400 cheaper than MacBooks, spec for spec.

Cheapest 13' framework $1,854.00 Worse than MBA M2

Besides, you forgot a little thing. You have to buy an operating system. $140-200
Since when does one have to pay for Linux? Or an existing copy, which most computer owners have? Ever heard of a license transfer?

The point stands: a modular, repairable, quality laptop can still be engineered without costing an artificial premium.

You cannot transfer an OEM license from a previous laptop.
Linux? Let's not joke anymore.

"a modular, repairable, quality laptop " Just like MBA M2. You can buy any part for this computer at a good price and replace it yourself.

Aaaaaaand you clearly don’t get it. Try fixing an MBA vs a Framework. Or maybe don’t cuz you’ve clearly never worked on anything in your life.
A little more time and more attempts. That's all.
Besides, I have owned dozens of laptops in my life and I have never had to repair them. There is no point in having a Framework device. First of all, financial. Secondly, it is ugly.

Just bought mine for $1546, or about two hundred less than a similarly equipped MBA (16GB/1TB). I don't doubt the Apple hardware is superior, but I haven't been happy about the direction Apple has been going, so here's me putting my money where my mouth is. We'll see what happens.
