Glad to know most of us pick up people are in the same boat. I'll try not to worry too much today.

Just got an email and text that my order is ready to be picked for tomorrow!

My order status has also changed to pick up

my guess is that Apple Stores are just now receiving their shipments for tomorrow and our statuses are slowly changing to "ready to be picked up" for tomorrow as the stores enter the stock in to their system.

Me too. (LOL!)
The credit card hold has dropped off but I am still in processing and no email to pickup has been sent.
So it looks like this is just the normal for in-store pickup people.

What do you think the chances are for them letting me buy a watch for hubby when I'm in the store doing my phone pick up? or will they make me get in the non reserved line for the watch?

I am wondering the exact same thing, only buying the watch for me.

I really hope I can get him one now that he finally wants one! We ordered him one over the weekend after he decided he wanted one, but the delivery date isn't until mid/late October (

So basically if I show up earlier than my window, they won’t prioritize me correct? I suppose that makes sense. I honestly made my pickup window the time it was due to my job, but I’m able to leave early tomorrow so I was thinking I could just walk in, turn my old phone in, and head out.

I wonder how many people they schedule for each of the available pick up times? I chose 8-8:30 cuz I need to get my phone and get back home to sign for my watch and hubby's phone. I'm ASSUMING i'll be out of there by 8:30 (i'm also planning on getting there before 8 cuz I assume there will be a line for pickups just like there will be a line for walk ins)

Last year at Apple Store King Of Prussia (huge PA store), there were 5 of us who had 8:00-8:30am Pick up times.

Depends on how early you are showing up before your window? I always schedule an 8 am when I was at my store last year and 9 am people were behind us.

Last year I picked up an 8+ from Cardiff store at around 1:30 and there was no-one in the queue. You may be lucky.

It looks like people who has early morning pickup are getting their pick up is ready for tomorrow email now. People with late afternoon still showing Order in Process.

I pre-ordered at the same time last year and chose the same pick up window too. I got my notification the night before around 530pm eastern that my phone was ready for pick up. 830-900am pickup window

My original choice was 8-8:30 but I selected 10-10:30 hoping some of the chaos would have died down by then.
I haven't received any email saying it's ready but I'm not worried.
