They wait until midnight the night before to tell me it isn’t available. This was preordered and supposed to be ready for pickup

Even if they did have it ready they would not release it to you earlier than scheduled. I've tried this last year.What happens if you show up before your check-in time? I got my email saying it’s ready for pickup at 3:00, but I’d rather go a few hours earlier at lunch time. It’s a paid-in-full order, no activation or anything. I just need to take the box and go. But since it’s a 30-minute drive, I don’t want to take the gamble unless I have a chance.

Got the failed email from Apple just now too. But it’s for my Apple Watch. I placed my order at 12:01 with the option to be delivered today. But I wanted it at the store. That sucks.
So looks like global issue, at least North America issue. Really sucks as both watch and phone are delayed for me...![]()
