Got my pick up email! Two phones. Since I ordered at different times my pick up window for each phone is different.
Oddly the 12 pm pick up email came first. Then the 9 am pick up came 30 min later.
I’m in nyc. Hoping the lines and crowds aren’t crazy with scalpers like they’ve been in the past.

Same here. Pickup was scheduled for Sherman Oaks, CA. WHat Store were you scheduled at?

What does it say on your order page though? Did they give you a new pick up window or still says order processing?
 
I got the same email about the logistics issue, however the order page is telling me to still check in at my designated time. My pickup is scheduled at the Apple Store in Canoga Park, CA. I will call Apple Support early in the morning to see which one is true.
 
Toronto Canada here so looks like this is a widespread issue.

Pick up time remains the same on Apple site but the email definitely supersedes that as it comes from the store.

No new pick up time is listed.
 
Hello, I'm new here (though I've had this MacRumors account for years but rarely post until now) - and yes, I got that email as well.

I ordered a XS Max 512 GB.

Pickup was going to be in the Apple Los Cerritos location.

Sounds like it may be a mad rush at the end of the day for those that are delayed.
 
What happens if you show up before your check-in time? I got my email saying it’s ready for pickup at 3:00, but I’d rather go a few hours earlier at lunch time. It’s a paid-in-full order, no activation or anything. I just need to take the box and go. But since it’s a 30-minute drive, I don’t want to take the gamble unless I have a chance.

Even if they did have it ready they would not release it to you earlier than scheduled. I've tried this last year.

What does it say on your order page though? Did they give you a new pick up window or still says order processing?

Mine says processing the order... so no pickup today... UPS messed up big time.
 
Got the failed email from Apple just now too. But it’s for my Apple Watch. I placed my order at 12:01 with the option to be delivered today. But I wanted it at the store. That sucks.
 
So looks like global issue, at least North America issue. Really sucks as both watch and phone are delayed for me... :(

Same here. I purposely check out the watch order first so I can begin the order process. My iPhone is another story. But at least I already know the phone won’t arrive today. Now the watch too.

I’m in Los Angeles. No love here.
