So what? You find it embarrassing, my kids love it!
How old are your kids? They probably like Baby Shark, Jurassic Park, Roblox and other stilly and stupid things. Apple AI is horrible in comparison to the rest of the AI marketplace. Image generation is more of a novelty in my opinion, it is an easy way to see how cool AI is and what it can do. This will wear off in few years once AI really settles and becomes and actual useful and integrated assistant.

I would love to see Apple AI get anything even close to this. I requested this from ChatGPT. I asked it to create a picture capturing what www.macrumors.com is all about. I did not give it any pictures, simply that verbiage with the website. I create a simple but effective image that you see below on the right. I then continued on and asked it to make it funny and add people to it. You see that example in the picture on the left. Now not super funny, but it followed what I said and continued on from what it original designed. Apple would give you a smiling picture of a guy or women, even if you asked for a smiling picture of a gorilla. You might see that gorilla in the background.... maybe. You will not see legs, you will see shoulders and a head smiling.... always smiling. The below images are actually something that someone could use if they wanted to. Or whatever else you feet AI. Apple again is so limited.

Even with Apple and fixing up text, you get 2 options and it ends there. To continue using ChatGPT as the good example, I can write a letter, tell it to make it more professional, friendly, make it funny, goofy or that it sounds like a 5 year old. I can keep going and going till I am happy. This is functional and usable. Apple is basic and in a world of super computers is essentially a graphing calculator by comparison.

The fuss about Apple Intelligence would perhaps be more relaxed if everyone realised that the ‘early days’ of artificial intelligence began around 70 years ago and ended twice so far - most of you weren't even born yet. Even ChatGPT is only slightly ‘better’ than ELIZA, which was developed in the mid-1960s. (However, its database is much, much larger).
Water and oil. 😉

Most ridicoulus UI I've seen.
You have only one shot, once you tap somewhere else you completely loose the answer. Can't scroll to old prompts or answers. Complete useless crap. A TRUE US-American Product. Dumbed down to no end.
I don't care for a "chatgpt account" so don't get me started on that.

I don't know, I use it without any problems. In fact, I love the make table function more than anything.

For generative AI stuff, I often use ChatGPT Pro followed by Claude but for every day stuff the  writing tools often work really well. The only feature I think I use more from  intelligence is the "make a table" and key points features. That's been a time-saver for me on a lot of my workflow.

I've begun using the writing tools frequently, and I genuinely enjoy them. I've created several quick keyboard shortcuts to access specific features, such as proofreading, rewriting, and composing, which allows me to do so much more quickly, and it works exceptionally well.
