Apple 'Magic Battery' Will Power Vision Pro Headset

This site is obsessed with Gurman and his very average record of guessing what might happen.
I think now I know what the M stands for in the M1/M2/M3.
Probably a few Apple products where the battery can be easily and magically replaced if it fails.
What next gen? Batteries are not evolving at any kind of rate where you'd be able to wear a headset like that with no battery until there's some insane battery tech breakthrough like li-ion was in the first place, because we're already at peak battery tech for that now. You'll be waiting 10-15+ years minimum for a solid state battery that can be built into the headset.

Thought Magic stood for wireless. This is more like MagSafe right? Though I already own a MagSafe battery. Which is pretty Magic to use to be honest.
curious how you will actually switch out the packs. will the headset act as a capacitor that can be powered for say, a minute, without the battery connected, or some sort of time deemed long enough to disconnect the dead battery and connect a full one without the need for it to force a quick sleep mode, or turn it off beforehand?

Even if they act as capacitors for only 10 seconds, that could still be a fun swap complete with countdown of some sort.

I actually like the "Magic" branding in the same I like the MagSafe branding or the Pods moniker. It just need to be used right or at least consistently (e.g. Apple's input devices using Magic branding).
The battery using it feels totally off.
Maybe if it had extra or interesting features that we don't know about?
But it's literally just a power bank. It's like calling a wall adapter Magic Wall Plug :/

Apple really is embarrassing itself. This Vision pro thing is already ridiculous as it is, Tim Cook should enjoy a wealthy retirement and put some writhing with a vision at the helm.
No, “Nailed it!” would be N, not M. Maybe an idea for the successor architecture though.
Calling this train wreck of a battery “magic” is cringey at best. Not worth the TM in my opinion.
