I just tried it in Firefox on my work Windows computer and it works fine.
Doesn't work on FF on Mac
(just tried it)

That's actually a really cute and catchy name which means it's something Apple would absolutely never go for. Apple hasn't had a sense of whimsy for at least the past 10 years. Why don't they just called them Mapple? Then you can Mapple things.
I've reported and got corrections made many times. You even get a push notification when the issue is addressed. I will add, however, how we report an issue should be more obvious and the process of choosing the location of the issue on the map, along with the various options and menus needs a better UX.I would gladly help to make Apple maps better, so as many others. Unfortunately there is no option to report.
You're telling me a nearly $3 trillion company doesn't have the resources or employee talent to make their web-based map compatible with Firefox? It's in beta.
That makes me thing of Mockolate...Why don't they just called them Mapple? Then you can Mapple things.
What I'm telling you is that it's a beta, and last I checked that meant that it's not complete. You're telling me a nearly $3 trillion company doesn't have the resources or employee talent to make their web-based map compatible with Firefox?
The Simpsons already did that 🤭Why don't they just called them Mapple? Then you can Mapple things.
Not on every listing, but there are "claim this place" links on at least some of them:I guess this finally means when web designers use Apple Maps links on websites that they won't redirect to Google Maps on non Apple devices anymore? If this is the case then Apple really needs to up their game on Apple Maps business profiles, to let business owners claim their business and add info and business hours and such.
Why why would you expect that to work? IOS has a perfectly good Maps app to use. smh.LOL not supported by safari on iPhone on iOS 18 latest dev beta.
It is also the least used compared to Chromium based browsers so not a high priority for a beta. It will come, but at a later date.Wow... they should have done this so long ago! I wonder why they don't support Firefox, which is THE most web standardized browser. Hopefully they can work out their standards to get it to work on FF.
I've been reporting that some freeways were marked as regular arterial roads, but there's no option for that, and putting it as a comment in "Other" didn't make a difference.Yes there is. I’ve used it many times and Apple are usually quick to fix issues.
Can also report directions and suggest changes
As a business, you can claim and manage your hours at https://businessconnect.apple.com. It's already compatible with Yext now, so now you can have your business directory management software automatically manage your Apple business profiles without having to login. I'm doing this through my current vendor.I guess this finally means when web designers use Apple Maps links on websites that they won't redirect to Google Maps on non Apple devices anymore?
