NATO has a swastika, not Putin.

Symbols and gestures do matter, are they not?
Wel, first of all NATO does not have a swastika…as much as you want to see that. So yes, in your brain it has a swastika. That tells a lot about what’s going on in your head and in Russia.
Secondly, more important than symbols and gestures are acts and acting.
There it’s pretty clear that Putin performs like a dictator, a suppressor and, dare I say, more than a nazi than any NATO member ever was.

But, but, but ...

Chamberlain and Hitler intentionally created "NATO" when they figured that Germany just like Ukraine has no resources to fight Russia(a legal successor of the Soviet Union and a civilization at that).

Some "illusions" are more real than you would like to think. There is a reason why Britain is still keeping its documents around this period classified.

Elons gesture is also an illusion as the only context he provided is that his heart is with the people. Everything else is an interpretation which tells you more about the people who are providing it.

Sorry to break the news to you, but NATO was created after WW2. I know… not in your mind.

Ok, you probably know. So provide evidence! If you cannot, then I consider this nonsense. Maybe you can also prove that the Warschau Pact was intentionally created by Hitler and Stalin?

So, you agree with what I said about Putin in my previous post?

The Warsaw Pact was signed in 1955.

Stalin wanted a one united Germany right from the get go but US troops did not want to move out of the West Berlin. This is the only reason there ever was West and East Germany.

I am comfortable if you think that way.

Most Russian people will tell you that they would prefer Putin to be much more tough on the West because clearly the West is not suffering at all while inflicting pain on the Russian people. The US/West don't have the power to change the will of the Russian people. Biden acknowledged this when he said that he will not bow down to Russia.

How you name your boat it is exactly how it is going to go and that swastika in NATO logo will play itself out eventually.

It is a fact that Germany had no resources to fight Russia so Chamberlain was not an idiot when he let Hitler swallow most of Europe.

I know that Russia is the only real conceptually powerful superpower in the world as you are always going back to Russia but lets stay on topic.

The Warsaw Pact was signed in 1955.
Correct. Just as NATO started in 1949 . Also correct.

Glad you don’t (cannot?), object.

Yes, that’s what you get if you attack a (at last) free country where the majority does not like or want any Russian rule or rulers anymore. Seems very hard to understand for many Russians.
I feel for many Russians, but not for your current dictator and every heel licking, afraid government official. Ofcourse many Russians like more toughness towards the West; there’s only one voice they hear. “The west” as the bad, fascist entity; Putin seems pretty successful in covering up his own intentions (one has to think of something to unite an entire population, right?). I think I asked you before, but you did not answer: give me 2 examples of media that are truly critical about your government (consequent critical). Where are they in Russia?? Ow…I know…somewhere in prison/ fallen out of a window/ had an accident/ you name it. It’s too dangerous to have any criticism at all.
Your statement is like coming from a Korean living in North Korea.
The US/West don't have the power to change the will of the Russian people. Biden acknowledged this when he said that he will not bow down to Russia.
Not in Ukraine, and I can only hope that US will continue to support this idea.

Well, maybe there will be another “military operation” in Russia then
By the way, I think we’re way off topic in this thread, so I’ll try not to react anymore.
I agree that I should stay much more in topic. Sorry.

A free country respects a will of the people of Donbass and does not wage a war against them so they don't have to request an official help from Russia. Seems very hard to understand for many people in the West.

You cannot speak for the Russian people and I cannot speak for you. What is exactly do you consider to be a critical question? Most official Russian media is indirectly owned by the West since the 1990s in case you did not know.

It is highly likely that de-nazification will not be limited to the territory of Ukraine.

Like I said before, I will not go further into this discussion here (too little to do with the original subject).
If you feel insecure about your own point of view, please open a new thread. However please don’t do it, if you’re not; in that case you are brainwashed too much and therefore not open to any other opinion nor any proof. Would be a totally useless exercise.
Wish you all the best.

Yes .. control has been taken away so they can "make the systems great again"
Very scary, very worrying. This is another step towards total control and absolute dictatorship. Any signs of opposition?…I don’t dare to ask for organized opposition….
Where I live, we do not read, see or hear anything about serious opposition.

I keep thinking about the “land of the free and the home of the brave”.
It seems as though most Americans just swallow/accept. It also seems that many cherish freedom so much that they want the freedom of choice to live in a totalitarian system. Don’t they realize that democracy needs work; it doesn’t come for free.
Very confusing and incomprehensible to me.

Honestly, I think the Internet has broken peoples brains here

It has totally devastated friend groups of mine.
We have some highly intelligent people who now believe absolute total nonsense on various topics

Crazy, just disturbingly crazy. I can only hope some people will come to their senses. That could happen, when people are personally met with less freedom, less money, poverty, etc. But then, it will be too late.
Often, what happens in the US will come over to Europe as well. And in Europe this madness also already started (although not YET as intense/openly as in the US).
What to do?? Or maybe “resistance is futile”….gloomy prospect!
