Funny enough, music has brought in a whole bunch of new viewers the last few months.
Yeah as much as some fans like to say Taylor Swift is ruining the NFL (how exactly?), there are so many new fans who will watch on Sunday just cause of her. There was always a large amount of casual fans watching the game anyway but I suspect this one will set a record for ratings.
Apparently she's averaged just 25 seconds of screen time per game. It's so dumb, they show celebrities all the time.

They got it backwards. The NFL is ruining Taylor Swift. I'm not a fan of her music. I don't like how a lot of fans are hating on her for showing up at the Chiefs games. She isn't causing a spectacle. Is it her fault the League keeps cutting to her everytime he beau makes a great play?

Yea I was mad when they did this. Not a fan of their music, was able to delete from my library when they finally made that available after the backlash. 1) She's currently on tour and performing the night before the game in Japan. She is flying in for it now cause of Kelce but wouldn't have otherwise.
2) They booked this before her and Kelce started dating
3) The performers aren't paid.

Then again, the Swifties are insanely supportive/obsessed and are probably going to watch in equally great numbers. Her (possibly) being on camera for a few seconds or minutes is enough for them to tune in, I'm sure.
