I’m half Italian and an account over there could be handy.
If you have an Italian address for verification, ok. But otherwise you risk getting blocked by N26. I'd rather get an account with a larger local bank if I were you.

I can’t understand why someone would like to have an Bank account at N26. How they are behaving with their customers is irresponsible.

What do you think an Italian N26 account would be able to offer that a German N26 could not? If anything most features and services (AP aside) are available to German customers first. Not sure I understand your reasoning? Especially with N26 of all direct banks which has no perks bound to national physical locations o_O

one twitter user said: "if i switched the date to 12th of November, the same report popped up in country that already supports AP"
see above.

secured connections have plausibility checks and a too wide spreaded time difference is treated like a security issue.

I don’t.
Hmm. I don’t have an address there and no Codice Fiscale. I should definitely get my Italian Identity card at least.

i am new to mac rumors as user as i found this thread by searching for any information about apple pay.

i think DKB will join Apple Pay. Not as launch partner but anyway.

https://twitter.com/DKB_Regulatory/status/1058665810426773504

got this reply as we discussed about, that i don't believe DKB anymore, that they will join Apple Pay, as they are Part of the Sparkasse Group. But they told me "the first ones are not the best ones".

I have a Girokonto on ING, switched from Sparkasse to them last December. But as ING deceided to not support apple pay and to check "if there is really need for a solution like that" i am about to move. DKB is one of the best alternative solution to ING as they provide the same service for getting money "everywhere" without any fees.

Actually i use boon. as workaround and ordered today Payback AMEX Card but i would like to have solution with a Girokonto without monthly fees like ING (but not with them) or better DKB.

I have an N26 Account for two years now. But I also have two other bank accounts for emergency cases.

Glad to be at N26 for Apple Pay, though. :)

i also have a N26 Account since two years but i don't like that fee for getting moeny on ATMs. I know that they have to pay a fee to the other bank.

Yeah, don‘t like that either. On the other side: I pay nearly everywhere with card.

so i do, but still in 2018 there are a lot of stores who don't accept cards. For this reason i need to get some money from ATMs and my wife also. It would be over 5 times a month.

The best thing for apple pay would be a partnership with PayPal, like Google with Google Pay.

I hope they don't do that partnership - for many reasons.

Apple should now be able to force banks to participate in Apple Pay, at least banks can get a share of transaction. I prefer the integrated solution with banks directly and I think Apple agrees. It fits more with their idea of services.

For anyone interested this is what the BNP text message said:
(weird email address of BNP). Your card XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is now being added to Apple Pay. If this wasn't done on your behalf, please contact Card Stop immediately.
