where exactly on the app do I update it? can't quite see it

When they last updated the app it wouldn't show any details until you confirmed your mobile number with them. I think it was in the release notes on the AppStore. Only thing I can think of as to why you're only given the option of calling natwest instead of receiving an SMS

Mate, I asked a question and you decided to answer (and rather dismissively with a wink). Seeing as you engaged with me I figured you wanted to discuss it. Don't go from telling me I'm wrong to telling me I'm overthinking it as I try to prove my case- that's rather frustrating. If you're no longer interested then we'll just leave it. Cheers.

thanks.

Ok....

That only works if Apple only update the file JUST before the scheduled check. But we've seen them update the file at other times. If they update the file for a new feature at say 8pm, then people turning on their phone at 8.01pm after being off since before midnight the night before, will get the feature immediately. Everyone else who was connected at midnight the night before won't get it till the next midnight. That sounds silly, has it been proved it doesn't check when you open the app? Cheers

Apple knows when the scheduled check is. They update it before then. So if it's midnight, they update it at 23.59 (which they can easily pre-schedule back end, it'll just be a quick swap), active phones will get feature at 00.00. If anyone's phone is off/no data coverage, they get it when on/in data coverage. Easy.

As for your next midnight thing, you're making no sense. Which led me to my comment that you're over thinking /over complicating it.

Don't know why I'm even this fussed about it working at 2 in the morning here in France where everything is shut all the time. I think it's the everyone else has the shiny toy syndrome.
