iPad Pro Apple Pencil Order Status Thread

EDIT: Not available within 250 miles of my zip code. But there is a chance for online delivery to work. Might try it. I am kinda expecting my order to update on Monday for a Tuesday -Wednesday shipment anyway.

Keep trying. Don't give up.I looked, yesyerday and saw availability at 2 stores. One was a 40 minute drive and the other one a 2 hour drive. I checked again, early, the following morning, saw it in stock at one of my local BestBuy stores , ordered it and picking it up today.

Yep you were exactly right!

Stock showed up at one store 1 hour and 30 mins away and then again later that night more stock showed up at a store only 35 mins away! I am picking it up this morning!

I am stoked to see the supply is finally reaching stores, but feel a little betrayed by Apple when I have an order still "In Processing" with the date range of 19th-27th and yet they are shipping stock out to Best Buy in my area. I understand why you would make it available in stores, but it is allowing people to walk in and buy one off the street before I get mine from a direct order I stayed awake until midnight pacific time to be sure to get.

You would think those first hour orders at least could be fulfilled before they supply Best Buy. But I get that they have agreements already with Best Buy and all...

I'm in the UK 19-26 Nov group and my Pencil is still processing (ordered about 11:30am 11/11). I'm expecting movement soon as my AMEX card was charged the £79 at about 5am yesterday. I hope it dispatches today/tomorrow for delivery Monday, otherwise I should get it Tuesday at the latest.

Has your card been charged?

Just checked and no my card has not been charged yet.
With your online order time of 11:30am I am hoping mine will be done as well. My order time was 11:04 so if anything mine is slightly ahead of yours. As such I'm hoping to be hit soon. Thanks.
 
Alright - update 3: found a Pencil in a Best Buy an hour away from me. It's on it's way to me right now. Should have it in 15 minutes - when it's in my hands I'll cancel my Apple order that's still processing with a Nov 19-27 ship date
 
It's amazing what one act of kindness will do. My newfound friend from the MF forums picked up a pencil for me on Thursday and shipped it to me. It arrived this morning and I'm so moved just by the thoughtfulness of that.

Keeping my order (which is still processing) so I can pass it along to a friend who's having a hard time locating one. Random acts of kindness can go a long way, especially when we have the opportunity to pay it forward.

I agree but glad that you got your pencil. :)
When I went to BestBuy to pick mine up one of their employees remarked "I didn't know we had those in." And I wanted to say, well you don't now. I guess they're as clueless as the employees I at the Apple Store.
 
FINALLY got mine. Spent the last hour testing it in 4 or 5 different apps. My assessment is that it's really incredible. The pencil in the notes app is honestly shocking. Apple NEEDS to develope their own full fledged art app with layers and everything.

I got mine this afternoon from Best Buy. I cancelled my Apple order but I kept my order for the keyboard (that's STILL processing)

It does look like BestBuy is the the best option for Apple Pencil seekers presently. In which apps did you do the testing?

I ordered one from Best Buy yesterday, and it arrives on Tuesday. The one that I ordered on 11/11 from Apple doesn't deliver until 12/4 - 12/11.

So, you had same day delivery . . . sounds awesome, especially the 11/4 date ;)
 
Wouldn't it be great if we saw some movement today. I remember my Apple Watch band went to preparing for shipment on Sunday afternoon so there might be a chance.
 
Just got confirmation that my Apple pencil order from BB has shipped. I have a tracking number for Tuesday delivery.
 
I am like everyone else, I am having a hard time understanding how there is a 4 week delivery window for the Apple web site and store and less then a week for BB.
