I tried cancelling my order but they wouldn't let me. Said that if you don't cancel within 30 minutes of placing the order you were stuck. They also said that mine was already boxed up and ready to ship. That was yesterday morning, nothing has changed in the order since. I found one in the store and yet they won't let me cancel the damn thing.

Join the club! The same thing happened to me. I ordered the Apple Pencil at around noon when they posted it on Friday because the stores showed no stock. Later in the afternoon I picked up the Pencils at the store and tried cancelling the web order. The online order was $30 more for each because of the expedited shipping and higher tax rate. If I can't sell it for the cost to break even by Wednesday I will return it and just cut my shipping losses.
 
so today I walked into the Best Buy in Chicago on Michigan ave and purchased an apple pencil and I used it for about 30 mins and I realized I don't need it so if there is anyone that's in Chicago I will sell it to you for the price I paid for it. I just don't want to return it since it will end up getting sent back I just want to give someone the opportunity to get one.
 
I tried the south loop store and they hadn't even heard of the things. They always seem to be where I am not.

What are the chances that Apple will actually fulfill the on-line orders that are supposed to ship this week? Usually they meet or exceed the earliest date in the estimate. But I haven't heard of anyone in the 19-27 bracket getting anything. Actually I haven't even heard of an order shipping to anyone in the US.

They guy working the ipad pro demo station at the apple store actually instructed me to buy one from Ebay for 2-3 times list price if I wanted one in the next few months.
 
Best Buy allowed me to cancel my initial order with them when I found a pencil an hour closer to me and picked up that one instead. No problem there, but I ordered an in-store pickup so maybe that part was different.

As for the pencil, it has been great!

Finding a pencil review thread to put my thoughts down.

My UK 11:30 11/11 pencil order is still Processing... My AMEX card had a £79 pending charge show on Friday, but that charge is still showing as pending. The order still as a couple of days left in the delivery window (19-26 Nov), but this is the first Apple order I have made that hasn't been delivered in the first half of the window. Anyway, it looks like Syncreon don't process Apple orders at the weekend. Fingers crossed that it make some progress today.

Got mine shipped 1am this Monday, do you know where these Pencils ships from? never heard about Syncreon Logistics until now. I'm wave 25nov-2dec btw.

Yes, totally agree with you. I've never known an online order to go well into the late part of the wait time!

Pleased for you but I do not understand how yours has shipped when some of us have dates 19-26 Nov?

I can only speculate, but Apple might have different people/divisions taking care of logistics and shipments for different regions, even within EU. And I'm sure there are less orders from Sweden vs UK, so I might have fallen through the queue faster than expected? But I'm not celebrating until I hold it in my hand!

Syncreon handle Apple UK logistics from their Hinkley, Leicestershire base. I'm not sure where Swedish (or other EU orders) ship from.

So it still seems like Apple is not shipping any units to the US. Any idea why?

I got the empty box from Staples today instead of my Apple Pencil. Has Staples responded to anyone as to why they got an empty box instead of their Apple Pencil?

Two things spring to my mind:
1) US Stock is going to BestBuy etc and not Apple.com orders, so no units to meet US Apple Store orders.
2) US MR members who ordered from Apple.com have given up on Apple and bought from BestBuy etc.
So although no (few?) Apple US units shipped, most of those waiting have them from a third party supplier.

Unfortunately none of the UK third party suppliers seem to have any stock yet, so not an option here (given that Apple UK also seem to have stopped sending out Pencils).

Same situation. I'm in the 20th to the 30th delivery date and I'm still processing! This is really getting irritating! I want my damn pencil Apple! The whole reason why I bought an iPad pro was so I can draw! If I can't draw on the damn thing because you don't send out the pencil which I'm willing to pay for, the whole unit is useless to me and I can return it by a fully loaded iPad Air two or mini and save a few hundred dollars in the process and still have close to the same performance as the pro! You really botched this whole launch!

When you say walked in you mean during the course of the day or right at opening?
 
I'm in the November 20-30th group...still processing. I did Apple chat this past Friday and nicely asked if they had any idea when my order would ship. The quoted the same thing my order said, sometime between the 20th-30th. This was the best part...I asked if they were aware that people were finding them at Best Buy stores...and that apple.com orders were still showing "in processing" for people who ordered right as it went on sale, on the website...and this person assured me that wasn't true...that Best Buy didn't have them yet...lol

I did a DM on Twitter and they canceled the order at my request since I have a pencil scheduled to arrive tomorrow from BB. Now on to find the keyboard.
