Just signed up to Macrumors to say thanks to everyone this thread - today I get a pencil and keyboard. Still no collection text but it's long time to 2pm 
Been in John Lewis and picked up my pen/keyboard - was in town so thought i'd pop in early on the off chance but received the collection email as I was on the escalator to collections, i was there within a minute, they must of thought I was very keen!
Ahh I've been trying here every day, I hope I can get one, I'm on hold with them now
Anyone want a Smart Keyboard?
After managing to get one today no longer need my John Lewis reservation. Anyone can have it at cost.

This thread isn't dead yet though, there are lots of people still wanting these! Will keep updating if I get any info on availability.

I'm really sorry but it's already gone! Keep checking Apple Stores in the mornings, they are getting good stock now.
Thanks for the update everybody, I got my Keyboard and Pencil through John Lewis this morning (had the text just after 9am!) - Had also ordered a keyboard and pencil through PC world, and paid for the early morning delivery today, but I've had a text from DPD saying that they hadn't received the parcel from PC world. Hope nobody else had any issues with them!
After getting them for collection at JL today I now can't get there until tomorrow. Just think of them lying there all lonely on a shelf

Well, PC World came through! My Apple Pencil I ordered from them yesterday morning arrived here today. A little late, but the DPD driver apologised profusely and at least it's here. No kudos to Apple's online store though - my original order with them made on the 11th November was still "Processing" when I cancelled it late yesterday. Shame on you.

Just used the pencil to make some handwritten notes for work. This thing is brilliant! Really accurate and it feels natural! I recommend Notability for anyone needing to make notes and it works with multitasking too. Hope everyone's managed to get one! I'm sure I saw some on the shelf at Metrocentre Apple Store for anyone still looking for one up north.
Placed order for John Lewis for Apple pencil and smart keyboard Thursday night got give Saturday delivery time 2pm ...receive email today at 1.55 saying your order in not ready for pickup today maybe tommorow spoke to customer service who say the order had only been dispatched today so not looking likely for Sunday ...
