iPad Pro Apple Pencil UK Availability

Regent St no stock
Covent Garden no stock
White City no stock

Seems like the floodgates have only opened in the US.
 
There is already a thread on this in the accessories forum.

As of 10 minutes ago no Pencil or Keyboards in any London store. :(
 
I don't suppose any premium resellers will stock them? I have one near work I'll check it out at lunch.

I'm seeing some appear in the UK on eBay... They're coming from somewhere! :)

Regent Street has them tricking in. They go immediately. Everything else you see on eBay was probably a pre order.
 
On a serious note, i assume due to the events in France last Friday, shipments might be delayed due to increased security.
 
Was in the Edinburgh Apple store today, and asked about the Pencil (I have one on order from the Apple online store). The assistant said that they had a delivery of three Pencils to the store the day before (Tuesday) but none today, and she didn't know when they would be getting them in again. But at least they seem to be - slowly - trickling out........
 
I find it frustrating they're going into stores when I ordered one a week ago! That should be the priority imo.
 
Any tips for the best time to visit a store to check? Do they receive stock before store opening or is it random?

Yeah, best time to visit is just after I've bought one and just before they run out! :)

As far as I know, the stores don't know when to expect stock so it's pretty random.

Totally random. Not only have you got the variation in delivery time (since Apple store deliveries are by a standard courier like UPS or whatever), but you've also got the variation in employees putting out stock when they actually get deliveries, and then beyond that, other employees actually knowing whether they're in stock.

Even in the US where stock is arriving, people are being told by the uninformed front of house person that there aren't any.

So how do people find out? If the Pencil is in stock in a Store, will it be on the shelf? or Apple staff will need to go to the back of the store and get the stock out?

Looking at the US thread it seems like they have them out near the iPad cases etc. or keeping them in the back so I've been going in and asking as well as checking around that area too.
I'll be popping by my local store in an hour or so to see if they have any. Fingers crossed!

Thanks. I will go to a store in a hour too. But it's nearly 17:00 already in HK so I don't think I will get any of the Pencil.

I just checked my store and they had none currently but they were in the middle of unpacking a 'large' delivery. They couldn't tell me any more than that and just suggested I try back in an hour when they've unpacked everything. It didn't sound hopeful though.

Which store?
 
I just rang what I thought was the Trinity Leeds store, but turned out to be a (Dublin sounding) call-centre. Nowt in Leeds, but she said there is Pencil stock currently showing at:

Bentalls (Kingston)
Basingstoke
Glasgow

Knock yourselves out kids ...

Thanks for the info! It'd be good if we were able to check stock online ourselves though...

None left in Glasgow - just popped in 5 minutes ago.
