Where would you put it? Brooklyn's always seemed like a big question mark to me... williamsburg? ft. greene? brooklyn heights?

bedstuy???????? ;)

Bay Ridge! ;)

Um, more realistically I wouldn't mind Park Slope. There's also the Atlantic Terminal mall with Target, it's not the most upscale but nice enough with TONS of subway access and saves 20 min on the R train going to SoHo...

Figures I'd be planning to go out of town on the Broadway opening. :( But the t-shirt I got at Cherry Hill NJ was so freaking huge it wouldn't even work as a night shirt so I guess it's not a loss.

As someone who lives on the upper west side, and works next door to the huge apple store on the east side - those "12 blocks apart" are really "big blocks."

Agree - NYC avenues are very, very long. More like 3 "average" blocks each. (Streets OTOH are relatively normal).

You pretty much do need both east and west sides.

Oh btw - in addition to Brooklyn I'd like to remind Apple about Center City Philly which STILL has no single store. :( I'm surprised Washington DC proper doesn't seem to have one either?

R Train = ♥
Hahaha

Seriously though, even though the R can get slow at times, it's always there and it goes almost everywhere.

Edinburgh??

Only store in Scotland is in Glascow. :-(
Theres a beautiful vacant site on Princess Street in Edinburgh that would be perfect for Apple.

Brooklyn Apple Store

Put the Brooklyn applestore @ kings plaza, bed stuy, downtown Brooklyn, ft Greene & red hook all these areas are being rebuilt for more bussiness but Also Brooklyn has high crime n if dey did this around the holidays or whatever they'd have too look out for costumer safety

Atlanta needs one of these flagship stores. The Lenox Mall store is just not big enough. They could put one in Atlantic Station or on Peachtree in Midtown. Atlantic Station is prob better because of the parking.

Looks neat but just another store nothing special. Only if you live near by it but thats about it. Blah blah 15mins of fame.

lol You got that right. Remember 1997 (?) or whenever it was when GAP stores were aaaall the rage? ;) Face it-- you get old and people move on. Not even the mighty Apple is invincible.
