Considering Apple normally saves such things for a product launch time (where the online store goes down and they can make all the changes at once), is this evidence the iMac Pro is delayed?

I’m in for an iPhone X case in the Flash colorway.

I want the watch band too, but I already have the existing yellow one.

Overpriced... but what isn't from Apple

Is that really the point though? We already know Apple charges a premium for their products as it is. But if you want a cheaper alternative sports band, you can do so. But they won't touch the quality of Apples bands. You might pay a premium, but you receive a quality result in the end.

There isn't much value in a band, so I agree it is really overpriced.
I know there's a lot of R&D in the making of iPhone and the Mac, they have high prices but they offer a great user experience.
But how much R&D goes into making a band? I just bought a third party milanese, it costed about 10% compared to the original one and feel good. Same thing for the Nike band, I bought one from amazon for less than $10 and I'm happy with it. For about the cost of a single original band I bought 3 third parties bands, and I like to change them from time to time so I'd spend more on bands than on the Watch itself if I bought only original bands.

As for silicon cases, I like Apple's ones. They're pricey, but the one I bought alongside my iPhone 6 is still good, after more than 3 years. I used it on my 6, than my 6s and now my father is using it on my old iPhone 6. When I bought the 8+ I went for the silicon case again. I like the grip it provides, I tried other silicon cases but the original one is great.
Contrary to what I do with bands, I like to keep my iPhone case as much as possible, so spending more on them is ok.

RIP people selling Hermès sports bands.
Don’r forget the special pin, but for some the Hermès watch becomes less attractive for sure.

Interesting why Apple did this and asking myself if a next generation Aople Watch will ever appear

5 negative posts outta 6 so far you people are amazing. If you don't like apples stuff why are you here and why do you buy it?

I don't know, dislike one specific Apple product and you're labelled a hater, like just one product and you're a fanboi. I'd like to think that the majority of people are mature and secure enough to judge (and comment on) each product on its own merits rather than just take the "It's Apple, therefore I love/hate it" view.

No, they will probably focus on the iMac Pro if it was delayed they would of said by now like they did with HomePod.

Gonna get that cash flowing before the end of the year because Timmy knows they’re going to sell like hotcakes.

Considering that the Apple bands aren’t made of “silicone” I’d say yes. The Apple bands feel completely different than the knock-offs.

What makes you think that they aren't made of silicone? PDMS comes in a wide variety of chain length/density, so it can have a wide variety of mechanical properties. And even absorbencies.

Pop Sci may be popular science, but they do cite Chemical and Engineering News.

I have the 1st Orange Sport Apple band and it doesn't look new after a year. The color has faded in three areas. Washing it doesn't help. $50 for an Apple Band is like buying an iPod mini. I wonder what really is the price point.

Got a pic? Just curious as I have only had the black Apple band and it still looks brand new. I’ve bought numerous other colors off Amazon and they always look really bad after a few workouts. Was really considering buying a color one off Apple, but have always balked at that $50 price.
